Frank Clark Arrested On Domestic Violence Charge
No details yet as this apparently just happened but the Erie County jail's website has a log of all arrests and Frank Clark is on there:
If you are for some reason dubious that this guy who looks just like Frank Clark is Frank Clark, his DOB matches that on Frank Clark's MGoBlue bio.
When it rains it pours.

The coaching staff anointed face of the team, ladies and gentlemen.

But you don't know what happened yet.

Ah yes, because people can always foresee situations before they happen?
You (and nobody here) likely knows what happens, but we are all concocting scenarios in our mind of what happened based on our own biases. We have no idea what happened, and until we do saying a guy didn't display "X" or put himself in a bad situation knowingly is meaningless.

Because Michigan has standards, unlike Florida State? It's also a pretty easy standard to meet: don't commit (or be arrested for) criminal acts.

A young man who was given a 2nd opportunity at Michigan has allegedly just thrown that away and has let down his coaches and teammates.

He should be suspended until the DA decides wether or not to file charges. If he is charged then his Michigan career is and should be over.

Where do you see that he's being held without bond?
November 16th, 2014 at 2:49 PM ^
MLive is reporting it. He's being held without bond until his hearing at 9AM tomorrow morning.

That doesn't look good, I will admit. I'll reserve judgement.

I agree with about this relating to Hoke, but the SanFran comment was an cheapshot.
I will also say that if this was OSU people would be calling Meyer scum or the villian of villians. Fans are not real consistent in how they apply their moral outrage.

Sucks. He was a great player and had promise at the next level. He'll need a lifestyle change if he wants to continue to play football.

After reading this thread, I am losing any faith in the Michigan fanbase being any smarter than Bobby Boucher (the character). What part of "Innocent until proven guilty" do people not understand? Because people are not guilty until proven innocent, the system places the risk in not arresting. We really need to wait until the facts come out before condeming Clark.

he did something sufficient for the police to charge him with domestic violence. (Most) everyone here understands the concept of innocent until proven guilty, but that doesn't mean that lesser ramifications shouldn't be imposed while the legal process does its job. Suspending Clark is entirely appropriate, particularly given his prior conviction. Most here would be screaming if MSU, OSU or FSU acted otherwise. And, if I am not mistaken, we are better than them.

... you're mistaken.
