I hope IU can make State work hard for a victory
October 18th, 2014 at 3:38 PM ^
A coverted LB...or is he hurt too?
October 18th, 2014 at 4:00 PM ^
all game
October 18th, 2014 at 3:40 PM ^
A close victory has a way of "focusing" a team. I want them to blow out Indiana, because it will give them over-confidence. #science #victorypsycology
October 18th, 2014 at 4:02 PM ^
week more because they were off for IU...
October 18th, 2014 at 3:50 PM ^
Hope is all you will have, TheDirtyD.
I don't know why anyone will want to watch the MSU game, though. Sparty gonna kick their asses. There are better options than that shitty game.

I have a hunch Indiana's quarterback isn't going to make it through this game.
October 18th, 2014 at 3:39 PM ^
The LB got hurt too and they're playing the 175 lb true freshman who was redshirting.
I'd feel bad for them, but we've got so many injuries that I don't feel bad for anyone.
October 18th, 2014 at 3:42 PM ^
Oh definitely. We've been fortunate to have injuries in places that we have depth for the most part (RB, DB).

In real danger of falling to 5-3 after a hot start. Desperate for a win and i think they get one today.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:37 PM ^
Hopefully you don't bet for a living.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:50 PM ^
I do not think it means what you think it means.

Baylor/WVU on the other...
October 18th, 2014 at 3:52 PM ^
Same, only both games on one TV. Love the DIRECTV split screen feature.
October 18th, 2014 at 3:41 PM ^
I switched away from WVU-Baylor to Michigan State-Indiana for a bit. Seriously, there is a realizable shot at 300 combined penalty yards in Morgantown - I am honestly impressed that self-facemasking, not washing one's hands after using the facilities and bowing to the inevitable have somehow not managed to get yellow flags in that game.
October 18th, 2014 at 3:44 PM ^
And the game might end up in the "Night Games (Open) Thread" too...

Just turned to UCLA/Cal, which I believe is still Maryland/Iowa...I refuse to watch OSU or MSU when they're playing teams they should destroy.
October 18th, 2014 at 3:49 PM ^
I'm going to watch IU's first couple possessions, just because I want to see this 175lb freshman.
October 18th, 2014 at 3:44 PM ^
Langford lucky there. Still helluva run when he turned the corner and powered up.

I'll bet Mr. Yost was upset that someone beat him to the noon games open thread.

Up 2 scores on Baylor...can Baylor do it 2 weeks in a row?
October 18th, 2014 at 3:52 PM ^
2 scores?? so baylors up by 7
October 18th, 2014 at 3:53 PM ^
Up by 3...
October 18th, 2014 at 3:56 PM ^
Tie game.
October 18th, 2014 at 4:00 PM ^
"coach, they are up 21 points"- Baylor player
"Perfect. We are basically leading by 7"
October 18th, 2014 at 3:59 PM ^
The difference between us and Ohio right no is that Urban has an offensive system. They develop talent. We don't.
October 18th, 2014 at 3:59 PM ^
Baylor's luck from last week finally ran out.
October 18th, 2014 at 3:59 PM ^
^ Mr. Yost, won't reply directly so you can revise it, but please don't have autoplay videos.
October 18th, 2014 at 4:11 PM ^
I was just going to delete it altogether. Mod help?
Here's the link: http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=11679201
October 18th, 2014 at 4:28 PM ^
I had to delete the entire chain, but it should be fixed now. Actually, I didn't see the video at all on this end but I could get the audio for some reason. I wonder if that was a laptop / phone format difference.
October 18th, 2014 at 4:58 PM ^
I posted from a laptop, but forgot ESPN doesn't let you take the autoplay off. I remember I posed the "MY WISH" on Michigan and it did the same thing.
Dully noted ESPN.
October 18th, 2014 at 4:00 PM ^
Don't they realize that in the B1G ur suppose to wait till there's 2 seconds or less left before snapping???
October 18th, 2014 at 4:06 PM ^
It's... It's like they want to catch them out of position. Sorcery, i tell you!
October 18th, 2014 at 4:03 PM ^
Well Baylor is done- was 6-0- Big 12 Imploding
October 18th, 2014 at 4:06 PM ^
Diamont got all nifty, evaded a bunch of tackles, and still got absolutely flattened.
Kid's going to die by halftime.
October 18th, 2014 at 4:14 PM ^
Thinks he's Randle-El or something...
October 18th, 2014 at 4:04 PM ^
If Diamont doesn't learn (very quickly) to get rid of the ball, they're going to carry him out of the stadium. Hopefully in one piece.
October 18th, 2014 at 4:09 PM ^
October 18th, 2014 at 4:11 PM ^
That's fine, but that's not going to prevent this kid from getting his head smeared all over the 22 yard line midway through the 3rd quarter if he keeps running around in the backfield.
October 18th, 2014 at 4:07 PM ^
Love that the first year they do this...it's complete chaos. Listen to the fans, we wanted 8. 8 makes it SO much easier.
You completely take the "conference champions" argument out because you give an automatic bid to conference winners and then pick your best 3 at-large teams.
Is there still going to be bitching? Yes. They're bitching in college basketball and they're arguing over 64-68. But the tournament starts and it's over and no one actually thinks a team that was left out could've won it all. That's not the case here with 4 teams. Someone is going to get left out that could easily win a national championship.
Just take your 5 conferences winners and 3 at-large, then seed according to AP poll or something. You're always going to have bitching, but let's have it about teams 7, 8, 9.
Also if you do this, it makes CFB even MORE exciting because you're not out of it if you lose a game or 2, you make the conference races more interesting.
And yes, put some kind of disclaimer that if you're a conference champion, but you're not in the top 15 in the country, then you forfeit your automatic bid.
October 18th, 2014 at 4:07 PM ^
OSU up big early but they have a tendency to fade after a fast start and let other teams back in. Gary Nova starting to get a rhythm
