Nik to announce decision tomorrow
And for those who have been asking, I will be holding a press conference tomorrow at school where I will announce my decision.
— Nik Stauskas (@NStauskas11) April 14, 2014
I won't believe it until he cites unnamed sources.
Who is this "Nik Stauskas" who claims to know so much about Nik Stauskas?
Don't be so dismissive...I heard that this "Nik Stauskas" character had a gut feeling about the next moves of Nik Stauskas. And he's the type of guy whose gut feelings you should trust.
Nik Stauskas doesn't do what Nik Stauskas does for Nik Stauskas. Nick Stauskas does what Nik Stauskas does because Nik Stauskas is Nik Stauskas!
well according to my Canadian sources (which are far superior to American sources when it comes to a Canadian athlete) there is little to no proof he is going to the NBA. That same source has also said that there isn`t any proof to say he is going to stay at Michigan. I obviously cannot release the name of this source, and for that I am truly sorry but I could not keep this crucial information to myself any longer
Plus, does he really have to spoil Stauskas's announcement? Just let the kid announce the decision how and when he wants to announce it.
a Taylor Lewan repeat
He gone.

Hawk's explanation of that one on air was priceless...

I don't think so.
Correct!
Ever heard of Trey Burke?
It sure is entertaining to look back at those comments.
Between the always available for comment, pessimistic Michigan fans, and the the trash talking State fans, I'm not sure which is more amusing considering the final result.

I occasionally look back at old posts and the comments. And then I laugh. And laugh.
Problem is that he is a Soph not a Freshman like Burke. Had Stauskas and GRIII been freshmen then I'd would have thought differently. But Nik pretty much had a season for the ages.
All I can say is, "told ya so."

It's the Brandon era. Everything gets a press conference.
I may have to self-medicate tomorrow.
Let's just get it over with.

drink up!
SPOILER ALERT: He is taking his talents to Zingerman's.....
Doubt he'll get much playing time his first year.
tomorrow is also the NCAA's early entry withdrawl deadline...hmmmmm
That deadline matters only for players who have already declared for the draft. The important date is April 27, which is the NBA's deadline for declaring for the draft.

Thank you for the clarification.
But he hasn't declared, so it doesn't mean anything.
The deadline to enter is not for two more weeks.
If Nik does go, he goes with numerous awards and a pretty solid resume that will definitely get him some attention in the first round of the draft. If he did decide to stay, however unlikely this seems at the moment, that would be an immense help moving forward into next season. Either way, he is a great talent and definitely an incredible asset to any team as we have seen for ourselves.
he could do is win a NCAA championship right? He if he stays, its for his pure love of Michigan....and maybe his smokin GF
Whatever decision, he is the man
I wish him the best of luck.
And for anyone thinking he's coming back. If he was doing so, I think they would've all done it together.
I think both Nik and Glenn are gone, McGary stays.
Burke held a press conference saying he was staying in 2012 (IIRC), and GRIII and McGary did the same last year.
Taylor Lewan did not hold a press conference to announce he was staying for his 5th year? That was a crazy dream I had.
