Wow!!!!!!
December 17th, 2022 at 9:52 PM ^
247 has him as #41 overall in the portal. Once they update him to Michigan, our Portal haul will be first by a mile (with #s 1, 11, 41 overall; Oklahoma has #s 10, 39, 66).
If AJ Barner comes, you can also add #37 for the good guys.
December 17th, 2022 at 6:39 PM ^
I doubt his Stanford credits will have issues transferring. LFG!
December 17th, 2022 at 8:19 PM ^
Back to Soph status! Play 3 more years …
December 17th, 2022 at 6:53 PM ^
It has to be an easy sell in the transfer portal. You have one more year of college before you go pro. Do you want to win a Joe Moore award and a Nattie with JJ, Donavan, Will, etc?
December 17th, 2022 at 7:49 PM ^
Please, it is spelled "NATTY", not nattie!!!
LFG!!!!
December 17th, 2022 at 11:22 PM ^
Nattie, Natty...NEITHER, NOR!
Let's win two more games and then we can settle this debate on what the winner is awarded.
December 18th, 2022 at 2:16 AM ^
"Natty" translates to "Natural" as in "Natty Light", so I would defer to "Nattie" as being the correct shorthand for "National".
Po-tay-to ... Po-tah-to...

Developments like this are so much better than recruiting unproven 18 year old kids out of high school demanding high six figure and seven figure NIL deals.
December 18th, 2022 at 11:33 AM ^
Not only that. Olu, was already recognized as one of the top OL players before he transferred. But when you are at Michigan, you get that much more recognition and elite coaching that goes a long way towards improving your draft stock. I’m sure a natty is important too, but it’s all about the draft my friend.

Hold me TomVH

I'm not sure why everyone is so delirious over these transfers.
They may be able to start for their current teams, but they haven't received even Honorable Mention as All-Conference. Michigan's Oline starters would be very difficult to displace. And the Oline depth are guys who have game experience and have been trained by the great Michigan coaching and training staffs.
The transfers may not be big upgrades over the depth guys already on the roster (Or any upgrade at all.) I think we need to wait and see how it shakes out.
December 18th, 2022 at 2:18 AM ^
They add depth at a minimum. Olu was a homerun this year, and Eyabi was an above average add. If they are even above average they are good adds.
Not every transfer will hit, but in my eyes - the three Michigan has added so far > 3 mid 4 star recruits given the variability of Freshman panning out.
In the case of Hausmann, he is still young so could even be a multi-year starter.
December 18th, 2022 at 11:47 AM ^
I’m not dissing the transfers. I’m supporting the quality of our current people.
We were going to have a really good OL next year and the transfers might add depth or might beat our current people out for 1 or 2 starting slots. But they aren’t likely going to create a great improvement because our current people are really good and have excellent potential.
My point is that the outpouring if exaltation seems to stem from the idea that these transfers will greatly improve the OL. The current evidence does not support that conclusion.
December 18th, 2022 at 11:47 AM ^
And that doesn’t even consider the concern that the current team culture is very tight, loyal to each other, and committed to Michigan. It is not impossible that the current guys might feel that they are being recruited over. We don’t want to do anything that would endanger the current team culture. It has already withstood the shock of having 2 team captains leave and dis the program as unfair to current starters. (I think they are completely wrong, but it is still out there.)

RAH, your username most decidedly does not check out!
December 17th, 2022 at 7:49 PM ^
Can he play point or shooting guard?
December 17th, 2022 at 7:56 PM ^
Lets GO! Any thoughts on Stephen Herron Jr? Once committed, now on the portal.
December 17th, 2022 at 9:31 PM ^
Likely Louisville.
December 17th, 2022 at 10:25 PM ^
Myles Hinton is getting the best of both worlds: a Stanford degree, and a Michigan education.
December 17th, 2022 at 10:51 PM ^
Very nice, sir.
December 17th, 2022 at 6:34 PM ^
Harbaugh is becoming a menace in the transfer portal, you absolutely love to see it!
December 17th, 2022 at 7:32 PM ^
I thought Mel Tucker owned the portal. He must be too busy counting his guaranteed money to care much about recruiting anymore.
December 17th, 2022 at 7:50 PM ^
Tuck comin'....undone!
December 17th, 2022 at 11:09 PM ^
Tuck Suckin’
December 17th, 2022 at 8:25 PM ^
I’d do the same tbh
December 17th, 2022 at 8:54 PM ^
Absolutely crushing it
December 17th, 2022 at 6:34 PM ^
How many years of eligibility does he have left?
December 17th, 2022 at 6:36 PM ^
I saw 2 years left
December 17th, 2022 at 6:39 PM ^
That’s huge. 2 years of a former 5-Star that’s already been in college for 4 years. With Sherrone Moores’ track record LFG!
December 17th, 2022 at 6:49 PM ^
It doesn’t mean he stays two years.
December 17th, 2022 at 7:07 PM ^
Thanks, Nostradamus
December 17th, 2022 at 7:26 PM ^
Well, his name IS The Oracle, lol...
December 17th, 2022 at 7:43 PM ^
The Oracle 2
Not even the original
December 17th, 2022 at 8:37 PM ^
I'm guessing the original Oracle is finishing a life sentence in Bolivia.
December 17th, 2022 at 8:16 PM ^
If he is good enough to leave after one year, even better.
December 18th, 2022 at 9:20 AM ^
I bet his brother advises him to stay and not leave early.🤷♂️

BTW, umaz1, I keep meaning to let you know I like your avatar.
It's got 4 of my favorite things: clever, bright, M, and, thanks to my sister's move, Arizona.

Thank you, I used my incredible photo shop skills to create that. Hahaha

Impressive. I used MS Paint for mine 😜
December 17th, 2022 at 6:37 PM ^
Whoa, fuck recruiting classes. Own the portal.
December 17th, 2022 at 9:59 PM ^
Yep, many fans forget that this is the 2nd part of recruiting. Many of these kids - like Hinton - have already proven themselves in CF. We're killing it.
December 18th, 2022 at 12:13 AM ^
He plays centerfield too?
December 18th, 2022 at 5:36 AM ^
Plus, alot of these kids were heavily recruited by Michigan in high school -- Hinton being a classic example. So it's not that much different from a signing day flip. We just have more data on them now.
December 17th, 2022 at 11:55 PM ^
well i mean as long as we're pulling in people we missed on originally
LET'S GET STEFON DIGGSSSSSSSS
