Admit it, You're Still Floating Around your House/Work b/c of Saturday
Mates,
Saturday was glorious for so many reasons, too many to count. But yesterday didn't most of us still have trouble keeping our feet on the ground? Which leads me to Monday, where you/we are still distracted, smiling, non-plussed by the normal work problems.
We dropped the proverbial Maize and Blue bomb on Columbus Saturday, and that smile isn't going off of our collective faces any time soon
So what has your day been like today as you meet others back in your normal lives?
These are sweet times, looking forward to Saturday night's B!)CG, and a highly likely CFP birth. Savor them.

This is totally true! I absolutely am! I live in Florida and was wearing my Michigan sweatshirt and had some random man say “it was so nice to see Michigan beat Ohio State”. Those moments just make it continue and it’s so awesome!
November 28th, 2022 at 11:37 AM ^
I was in Publix Sat morning with my Michigan gear on and some old guy stops me in the frozen aisle to tell me there are two teams he hates: OSU and Notre Dame. Hahaha!
Listening the Sirius ESPNU all day today. Loving it!
November 28th, 2022 at 11:53 AM ^
Dammit. And now I'm craving a PubSub.

Question: if one were to continuously watch reruns of a certain football game, is this a problem?
Asking for a friend.
😬
November 28th, 2022 at 11:35 AM ^
I sure hope not.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:39 AM ^
if you break out in a rash you might want to go to the walk-in clinic....
November 28th, 2022 at 12:21 PM ^
I think the walk-in clinic is what we should call Edwards' touchdowns from Saturday.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:47 AM ^
Is it worse if you won't watch highlights or reruns because you're floating and you are making a conscious decision to ride this out and use the reruns to hold you between the B1G Championship Game and the CFP?
November 28th, 2022 at 11:57 AM ^
This morning Mrs. Hatter asked me "how long will this be going on"? I told her about a week, until the Big 10 Championship, same as last year.
I think a part of her misses our years in the wilderness, although she would never admit it.
November 28th, 2022 at 12:18 PM ^
No. I already watched the game again on Saturday night and will likely do so again before this Saturday. Believe I've watched the 2021 game 5 or 6 times and I will probably exceed that number with the 2022 version.
November 28th, 2022 at 12:19 PM ^
If your continuous rewatch lasts more than 4 hours, that's just fine my friend! Carry on!
November 28th, 2022 at 12:39 PM ^
The game highlights were posted on YouTube on Sunday. I don't have the time to re-watch the entire game so this has been perfect for me.
November 28th, 2022 at 12:50 PM ^
BTN in 60 is a great watch, too!
November 28th, 2022 at 11:31 AM ^
Haha yup! "Work" so far has been browsing M Den and Fanatics, digging into the pod, and refreshing twitter for more takes / highlights / schadenfreude.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:31 AM ^
Like a fucking weather balloon.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:32 AM ^
I've accomplished nothing other than pulling the dopamine lever, over and over across all forms of football media.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:34 AM ^
Happy birthday to me. Watching it again. And again.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:35 AM ^
I am still in shock. I had no expectations of a win. Zero. I think I have watched the highlights more than 10 times. I am not over it. Just really hope usc pulls out the win against a tough utah team.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:37 AM ^
Same. I thought we had a non-zero chance to win, but didn't expect it. I was rooting for UCLA against USC, and even South Carolina against Clemson (during the OSU game! though eff Dabo anyway) so we could keep the playoff back door open. Now it's flipped. Hope Caleb wins a unanimous Heisman and Cam Rising commits all the dumb turnovers he's capable of doing with that lucky-ass USC defense.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:49 AM ^
Caleb better send an edible arrangements to Schembechler Hall or something. We played a part in getting him that Heisman.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:55 AM ^
Haha! This was something my mind wasn’t capable of on Saturday. I had also processed all the scenarios of who we needed to lose, should we lose, and was invested in watching all of those, and then once we won I just couldn’t process interest in those games one bit. At some point I just turned off the TV and said goodbye to the college football season with the most incredible sense of peace because those results just didn’t matter. It was awesome.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:35 AM ^
Oh yeah! I am still smiling. And looking for more Michigan Football content. :)
November 28th, 2022 at 11:35 AM ^
I admit it, unless any of your are my department manager, in which case I do not
November 28th, 2022 at 11:35 AM ^
It has been awesome. My buckeye co-worker is absolutely pissed at the entire OSU coaching staff. He said Ryan Day needs to be fired if he loses to us again next year.
November 28th, 2022 at 12:04 PM ^
Lol, you know he's going to! EVERYONE knows he's going to lose in Ann Arbor next year; they don't have the coaching accumen or the team to beat us next year. He's still going to fall short of 100 counting next year, 😆
November 28th, 2022 at 12:22 PM ^
They're not going to fire him after next year, barring a total collapse. Their fans better get used to this. It's just great to see and hear about them having a complete meltdown after back to back Ls.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:37 AM ^
I work at a high school. There's a student who has been giving me crap all year that Ohio State is gonna beat Michigan this year. I was so excited to see him this morning, it was fantastic. He tried to hide away and come in through a different entrance. But I found him, and simply smiled. So good. I'm wearing my Michigan jersey all day!
November 28th, 2022 at 11:41 AM ^
Didn't see any of the usual OSU hoodies and coats in classes today. How about that.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:40 AM ^
my colleague went to the game (as a guest of a diehard Ohio State fan), she was a semi-neutral observer.
When we talked this morning, she was like "yeah it was great up until the 4th quarter" and i just laughed and laughed. Sharing the car ride home with a despondent buckeye must have sucked
November 28th, 2022 at 11:42 AM ^
Honestly, I sort of feel hung over; a lot of emotional stress goes into these games, especially when we are at the 'Shoe. I gotta get myself ready to take another hit of serotonin or dopamine or whatever it is that will be coursing through my viens Saturday night.
November 28th, 2022 at 12:14 PM ^
Sort of? I'm still hung over.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:43 AM ^
I live in columbus and have been enjoying the local sports radio all day today!
Go Blue!!!!
November 28th, 2022 at 12:12 PM ^
I remember back when they were ready to move on from Urban (for purely football reasons) and how Ryan Day was going to be another level of success. Now he's Ryan Cooper Coker Day, as far as they're concerned
November 28th, 2022 at 12:32 PM ^
I may be joining you as a Columbus resident come next summer. If so, I will really enjoy all their agonizing going into next season. And in the likely event we make it 3 in a row, well, that will be even better to take in.
November 28th, 2022 at 12:44 PM ^
They are starting to implode
November 28th, 2022 at 11:44 AM ^
I was at the Browns vs Buccaneers game Sunday and there was a ton of Michigan gear in and out of the stadium. Sure, some of it was Brady #10 Michigan gear, but most of it was just Michigan gear.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:44 AM ^
I am going crazy!! So pumped up! And now I found out last night I’m going to the game on Saturday. Keep hitting refresh on here fiending for every morsel.
Edit: Just found out I will be in section 151. I assume that’s the Michigan side.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:45 AM ^
I haven't got shit done in 2 days and I don't feel even a little bit bad about it.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:45 AM ^
I've spent half of the morning working, and the other half listening to the MGoPodcast.
Thankfully no client meetings today, but yeah its going to be that kind of work day.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:45 AM ^
Today - as Saturday - is simply brilliant.
Several colleagues, who are huge Buckeye fans - spoke about the weather, and the flu, and bad calls - after the game in Ann Arbor last year. They aren't saying anything this morning.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:46 AM ^
It's so strange...
Prior to kickoff in last year's game, I felt very pessimistic, but just a couple of minutes in, I KNEW that it was gonna be our day.
Prior to kickoff in this year's game, I felt NOTHING -- I truly didn't. I had zero idea where this game was gonna go. The weird thing, though? After OSU drove the field on the opening possession of the game and went up 7-0, I got a GOOD feeling -- like, okay, it's ON now. Let's go.
Anyway, it's a glorious Monday morning here in SW Ohio. It's chilly, it's gray, but it sure as hell isn't scarlet and gray!
November 28th, 2022 at 11:46 AM ^
Just been watching highlights since Saturday and talking mess on Twitter
November 28th, 2022 at 11:46 AM ^
I’m still grinning like an idiot over that win. I started watching Michigan football in 2006 at the age of nine and honestly have never seen Michigan win in Columbus. I have only experienced us getting kicked between the legs as a fan base up until 2021 and this season, having seen everything from 2006 to JT was short to a derailed revenge tour to Dobbins gutting our defense.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:47 AM ^
I can't do SHIT.
It's starting to get me in trouble.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:50 AM ^
If I could just have a nickel for every time I hit the refresh button on this site, retirement would be possible by the end of the day!
November 28th, 2022 at 11:50 AM ^
I teach at the school in AZ where OSU's big 2024 QB recruit is coming from...my daughter attends the same school and sits next to him in science class. I keep telling her to just hum the Victors near him. I'll check with her at end of day to see if she did. If not, she's out of the family.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:51 AM ^
Saturday I wore my ‘Hurdle the Fools’ shirt.
Sunday I sported ‘Mr. Brightside.
Today I’m wearing ‘A More Perfect Union’.
I’ve been enjoying all of the high-5s on each and every Victory Walk with my dogs.
Beat Purdue!!!
November 28th, 2022 at 11:51 AM ^
100%. All I've done all weekend... and into today... is rewatch the game and/or watch any of the hundreds of media takes about the game. So, so sweet.
November 28th, 2022 at 11:52 AM ^
Yeah but there is only 363 more days of this. Hope this smile doesn't lock in as permanent. Or maybe I do.
