Revenge Tour Death Row
October 21st, 2018 at 9:45 AM ^
Spartan tears taste like sugar.
October 21st, 2018 at 9:48 AM ^
Memo to all head coaches - there will be cameras focused on you. If nothing else but for basic morale maintenance no matter how badly the game is going, you cannot not ever be caught doing the surrender cobra.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:15 AM ^
So you should be caught?
October 21st, 2018 at 9:57 AM ^
I feel bad for Paul Chryst that he isn't considered part of the revenge tour
October 21st, 2018 at 10:51 AM ^
He’s not enough of a dick
October 21st, 2018 at 11:03 AM ^
He's too clean, honorable, and runs a program with class. Can't hate on him just because he beat us last year.
October 21st, 2018 at 12:52 PM ^
Technically they were, but as others have said, Chryst is a good guy and they are a clean program. They don't garner the hate that MSU, PSU, and OSU do. Wisconsin was a team that you wanted to beat because it was an L last year. They are a solid team and were a good measuring stick at the time.
October 21st, 2018 at 9:57 AM ^
27 captains? agreed with the comment that diffuses leadership on the team. Of course their best captain has left the school entirely.
Also OSU fans already saying they might sell their tickets to The Game... make me an offer!
October 21st, 2018 at 11:01 AM ^
Meyer seems to be a total pushover. He didn't have the guts to discipline Aaron Hernandez, didn't have the guts to fire Zach Smith . . . he doesn't even have the guts to choose 2 captains like a normal person.
October 21st, 2018 at 3:54 PM ^
That’s every starting position plus another five. Which five? Kicker, punter, long snapper? Still 2 short? Did Urban forget who he picked as captains and just went aw fuck it all of you are?
October 21st, 2018 at 9:57 AM ^
you forget the wisky in the death row. It would be nice if we can get to the BIG champ game face iowA. then revenge tour would be completed!
October 21st, 2018 at 10:05 AM ^
Wisky doesn't engender the hatred that the 3 state colleges do
October 21st, 2018 at 10:16 AM ^
No, they don't, but they were the first stop on the Revenge Tour.

Michigan Monday this week is gonna be fun!
October 21st, 2018 at 10:58 AM ^
Hard to imagine less snark than last week's post, but somehow I think there will only be snark directed toward osu with only one or two thinly veiled shots at Michigan. Season is shaping up quite nicely!
October 21st, 2018 at 10:02 AM ^
OSU put in one of the most disinterested performances I've seen in a long time.
I can understand starting a game flat or overconfident but at some point you think the team with superior talent would eventually show.
Their players zombie walked through the whole game and didn't show any emotions. They looked as if they didn't care one way or the other.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:05 AM ^
Something is going on at OSU. Get your popcorn ready.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:17 AM ^
Urban is burned out. I'm telling you. I have someone very close to me who is just like that. It's either all or nothing. They go 110% all day every day, they sleep 2-4 hours a night, they never take breaks and when they do they feel incredibly guilty for it. When others around them aren't being that intense, they become resentful and bitter. And they're constantly striving to be better, never satisfied. They hate the process but they're addicted to achieving the desired results.
Based on the long article about Urban's anxiety from a few years back, and seeing his behavior at two different jobs now, I firmly believe this is how he operates.
I know people may think that Harbaugh is the same way, but I believe it's different. Harbaugh loves the process. He loves the team and comoradarie and his relationships. Anyone who saw the video of him getting choked up in the locker room yesterday knows he still loves it and his passion is still there.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:44 AM ^
Yup--the person who doesn't really care about winning and, thus, does not actually enjoy it. They're driven by a hatred of losing. That's burn-out stuff right there.
October 21st, 2018 at 11:27 AM ^
Meyer's that guy who doesn't think the Check Engine Light really applies to him.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:33 AM ^
i know MGrowOld disagrees with me, but Meyer is gonna jump ship and go to the Browns next year. hawt take, I know.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:34 AM ^
I think you’re right about something going on.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:51 AM ^
Almost as if the whole team acted like nothing was going on. Must be a learned behavior.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:59 AM ^
The kick return in the fourth quarter that nearly became a safety was astonishing. Whole team was checked out.
October 21st, 2018 at 2:30 PM ^
That really was astonishing to see from a team that usually plays with such high intensity. It mirrored well the near complete lack of zeal from Meyer every time they cut to him on the sideline.
It also means their will to win can be broken.
October 21st, 2018 at 12:28 PM ^
Can't help but keep wondering if the Nick Bosa thing is a canary in the coal mine
October 21st, 2018 at 12:39 PM ^
They are 3-5 versus Purdue over the last 8 years. At some point they should start taking them seriously.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:07 AM ^
Pure Gold:
"MSU's pregame walk covered more yards than the offense did in this game."
" I hope Tressel or some of his other coaching friends/mentors reach out to him [Dantonio] and give him some sound advice."
October 21st, 2018 at 10:23 AM ^
That's BS.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:09 AM ^
This is more time than I have ever spent reading 11 warriors threads. The thread off to the right of the one posted, about Urban missing fall camp, is interesting. Some fans defend Meyer and say he had a difficult coaching job to do after being "thrown under the bus", others blame him for keeping Smith around for so long.. one person said Meyer coached last night like he had been blindfolded and dropped off at a game seeing the team for the first time. Many comments pointed to a difference in culture affected by the off field drama and that Urban might be on his last season there. There was a comment somewhere about trying to get Luke Fickell back, which was hilarious.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:37 AM ^
Isn’t Day “coach in waiting?”
October 21st, 2018 at 10:45 AM ^
Yes, another commenter was worried that Day would bail if OSU didn't promote him soon.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:15 AM ^
I am pleased with the results of football yesterday.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:19 AM ^
We got the trifecta! An M win with losses by MSU and OSU. Only a ND bye week prevented a shot at the ultra-rare superfecta.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:32 AM ^
Yesterday’s results and KU getting exposed in the college bb trial??? I’m having good sports. I deserve this.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:17 AM ^
Chase owned MSU yesterday, including their beat writers.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:30 AM ^
"Blouses" - from David Long - hahaha!
October 21st, 2018 at 10:40 AM ^
MSU fans talking about how trashy and dirty Michigan is because of their precious midfield logo is so ironic. Which program(s) had major off-season scandals again?
October 21st, 2018 at 10:47 AM ^
Sparty can kiss my big blue Michigan ass.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:42 AM ^
OSU fan still think they are going to beat "ttun" and ruin our season.
I think the worm has turned and as MSU just found out, everything eventually regresses to the norm.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:52 AM ^
I confess, I went to 11W last night. And for a few minutes this morning.
11W is a collection of the most outrageously entitled goofs imaginable. So many improper uses of the word "dominate". I also looked at RCMB for a few seconds. A sewer.
What struck me while flipping back and forth last night was the misplayed kick return late in the game. The OSU guy just looked at the ball like it was a punt rolling dead. Then he jumps on the ball and barely gets out of the endzone to prevent a safety.
That confused OSU player seemed to encapsulate the total disorientation of the OSU team and fanbase. They can't understand even the concept of adversity.
Dantonio is a jerk.
Last night was the first time Herbie seemed truly pissed. Almost dropped the "who gives a shit..."
Go Blue.
October 21st, 2018 at 11:45 AM ^
I've never seen blatant OSU homerism from Herbie until last night. He seemed genuinely emotional about what was happening to OSU
October 21st, 2018 at 11:48 AM ^
Another great thing about that game was that herbie was one of the commentators .
October 21st, 2018 at 12:44 PM ^
Underrated comment.
October 21st, 2018 at 11:10 AM ^
Really want to see notre dame in the playoffs.
October 21st, 2018 at 11:36 AM ^
IDK if ND has really improved throughout the year so far, we clearly have and I would like our chances against them.
October 21st, 2018 at 11:40 AM ^
I wonder if Urban reported that beating they took last night?
October 21st, 2018 at 12:10 PM ^
Revsine, Chuck Long, and Stanley Jackson seemed pretty upset with Harbaugh’s and Mark’s behavior and said it’s too much “Connor McGregor” for them.
October 21st, 2018 at 12:25 PM ^
Yeah, I saw that. Fuck them all. They laughed at our program when we were down and MSU bully-balled us every year. The one year we out trash-talk MSU while beating them into the turf some BTN studio guys get pissy? Again...fuck them and their outrage.
