Their pass defense is struggling as it is

Scotty doesn't know he's out for the first half, so don't tell Scotty, because Scotty doesn't know.
October 6th, 2018 at 10:30 PM ^
Scotty don't

This has been stuck in my head since the Nebraska game, sorry.

Single greatest Matt Damon cameo ever. “She tells him she’s in church, but she doesn’t go...”
October 7th, 2018 at 2:19 AM ^
I won't say anything if you don't.
October 6th, 2018 at 10:32 PM ^
Should be a good game next week. Wisconsin is better than any team we've played since Notre Dame. But they're not as good as Notre Dame, and this game is at Michigan.
October 6th, 2018 at 11:04 PM ^
Wisconsin is currently outgaining Nebraska by a whopping 20 yards in the fourth quarter. You may be right, but I’m not overly impressed.
October 6th, 2018 at 10:49 PM ^
Martinez has almost 400 total yards against them now.
October 6th, 2018 at 10:52 PM ^
Conversely, Wisconsin has ran for 330 yds and 4 TDs already.
October 6th, 2018 at 11:00 PM ^
Unless they have JT Barrett, Wiscy isn't running for shit against the boys in Blue!
October 6th, 2018 at 11:10 PM ^
But we know Nebraska's defense sucks. Wisconsin's defense being potentially sucky is new.
October 6th, 2018 at 11:53 PM ^
Yes, everyone expected that. Wisconsin's defense being potentially bad is way bigger news than them gaining 300 yards on the ground.
October 6th, 2018 at 10:50 PM ^
Nelson is out of Detroit, I bet he's gonna hate that..
He was second on their team in tackles and often has the match-up with a tight-end or slot.
October 7th, 2018 at 6:42 AM ^
If your safety is at top or near top of tackles, not good.
October 7th, 2018 at 10:33 AM ^
Well, it depends. If you're up big most of the time, opponents are going to be airing it out a lot and the safeties probably will get a lot of tackle opportunities. I'm not sure that really applies to UW though.
October 6th, 2018 at 10:54 PM ^
I've been surprised how consistently mediocre Wisconsin's defense has looked this year.
October 6th, 2018 at 10:54 PM ^
Wisconsin’s D already not very good
October 6th, 2018 at 10:58 PM ^
Wisconsin might've just lost their best Corner too in Dakota Dixon
October 6th, 2018 at 11:02 PM ^
He is actually the best safety in the B1G.
October 6th, 2018 at 11:13 PM ^
He's a safety, not a CB. Their CBs haven't been good though.
October 7th, 2018 at 9:08 AM ^
He fought Tex Colorado...you know—the Arizona Assassin?
October 7th, 2018 at 7:55 PM ^
Fucking hilarious.
October 6th, 2018 at 11:04 PM ^
Nooooooo, sorry clowns UofDJ, Cubman! Sorry Scott
*above was vodka influenced syntax, let me translate:
Sorry UofM, fans but since I'm a cubman from UofDJ, I'm very disappointed that Scott can't play the first half.
That being said I hope he has a great second half, in a big win for Michigan.

I wouldn't be that even on St Patty's day.

Just flipping around games there were a number of players ejected for targeting.

Make hay while the sun shines.
Wisconsin is not built to come back from 21 down.
So do that.
October 7th, 2018 at 1:32 AM ^
Hear, hear.
Their running game is a worry. Our DT depth is a problem and while they've shown improvement ND demonstrated that there is something to exploit up the middle; it's worse if Rashan isn't at full strength.
But if Michigan can finally cash in on some early drives and build a lead, the pressure changes.
October 7th, 2018 at 6:59 AM ^
They did? Wimbush was their leading rusher. They also run a spread. The two are not comparable.
October 7th, 2018 at 8:49 AM ^
That's more or less what I was telling people last night - building a substantial lead early on against Wisconsin is going to be critical as Wisconsin is not the sort of team that can generally come back from a multi-score deficit. A slow start on offense for us next week is not going to bode well for my need to drink - I'll be at the game, so I won't be able to actually drink.
October 7th, 2018 at 3:09 AM ^
GO DEEP
October 7th, 2018 at 8:28 AM ^
From what I understand, Wisconsin is already thin at the secondary position.
