I feel bad for Asiasi.
September 17th, 2018 at 7:37 PM ^
I don't. Kid could've been a stud and NFL draft pick if he stayed
September 17th, 2018 at 8:11 PM ^
iirc he had some family issues and wanted to be closer to home. kinda shitty to wish ill on a kid for wanting to be closer to family
September 17th, 2018 at 8:16 PM ^
I don't think it was family issues so much as simply being homesick.
September 17th, 2018 at 9:54 PM ^
didnt he get suspended for the 1st game there too? first time he was eligible to see the field and wasnt even able to get out there.
September 17th, 2018 at 10:08 PM ^
That was one of the coldest November and December's in recent memory. He made the wrong choice but I can't say I blame him.
September 18th, 2018 at 8:35 AM ^
It was homesickness more than anything else. Apparently(according to UCLA media) the only reason he chose Michigan in the first place was that he was such a USC fanboy that he couldn't bring himself to pick UCLA and he really wanted to play tight end and USC only wanted him for defense. He'll do fine at UCLA(once he gets back from his 3 game suspension), but I'm not interested in anyone getting shamed for saying it maybe wasn't the best decision he could have made.
September 17th, 2018 at 5:58 PM ^
This is such shitty parenting. Imagine how DTR must feel with his dad making front page ESPN trashing his coach.
Feel bad for the kid.
September 17th, 2018 at 6:16 PM ^
Around here, we call that feeling “the Berkley Edwards.”
September 17th, 2018 at 6:46 PM ^
Must be hanging out with LaVar Ball, getting some pointers...
September 17th, 2018 at 6:00 PM ^
That was close to being our problem! Real close
September 17th, 2018 at 6:03 PM ^
Isn't it ironic that chip kelly got this qb and Wilton, don't you think, a little too ironic.
September 17th, 2018 at 6:08 PM ^
...I really do think
September 17th, 2018 at 6:08 PM ^
Don't ya think?

It's like ray-e-ain on a Saturday.
September 18th, 2018 at 12:12 AM ^
It's a DPIII-II-IIII, when you scored on the play
September 17th, 2018 at 6:13 PM ^
DR chose UCLA because of Speight and others here on the Depth Chart! He flat out said that when he was being recruited, he was tired of sitting behind Martel and didn’t want to sit 1-2 more years.
Now he goes to UCLA and so does Speight lol
September 18th, 2018 at 8:39 AM ^
I do sometimes wonder how well he gets on with the rest of the team in the wake of those comments as UCLA has just as many young QB's as Michigan and with those comments he was, essentially, insulting those guys.
September 17th, 2018 at 6:18 PM ^
Like a black fly in my chardonnay...
September 18th, 2018 at 9:07 AM ^
That doesn't look like Chardonnay to me...
September 17th, 2018 at 6:51 PM ^
Biff Poggi, who rarely posts, ripped the dad on Twitter, without naming him. He tagged Wilton, who liked his tweet. I wonder what their QB meeting room is like.
September 17th, 2018 at 7:00 PM ^
If they're like a room of normal 18-21 year olds, it's a lot of wishing that their dads would stop tweeting about their lives.
September 17th, 2018 at 6:00 PM ^
Must be lavar ball's cousin.
September 17th, 2018 at 6:01 PM ^
Bullet dodged.
September 17th, 2018 at 6:01 PM ^
This isn't far removed from Archie Manning and his helicopter act through the years.
September 17th, 2018 at 8:23 PM ^
Another reason to hate those whiny mannings.
September 17th, 2018 at 6:06 PM ^
I wish people would stop thinking that every dispute MUST be addressed publicly. I know the guy is frustrated for his son, and maybe justifiably, but how about a call or email? Maybe wait more than 3 games, for that matter?
September 17th, 2018 at 6:24 PM ^
I don't know how he could have a justifiable beef 3 games in and his son has started 2 of them. Wasn't his dad coaching somewhere?
September 17th, 2018 at 10:25 PM ^
That is well stated, logical take, especially when considering that it comes from a child eating clown.
September 18th, 2018 at 10:48 AM ^
You can rest assured that I will never eat you, as you have the DIABEETUS!!!
September 17th, 2018 at 11:03 PM ^
I often sat in players family section group on the road during the Mo years, and many parents whose kids weren't getting playing time would openly gripe loud enough for everyone to hear...
September 18th, 2018 at 6:01 AM ^
As a little league coach, it seems to start there. Some parents are just straight up nuts.
September 18th, 2018 at 8:35 AM ^
Amen to that. It's one of the reasons I stopped teaching and stopped umpiring youth baseball. I could never understand why some of those kids were such troublemaking jackasses ... until I met their parents. Then it made sense.
September 18th, 2018 at 8:45 AM ^
Mine are great, but I also have a team of kids who haven't been sucked up by the more, um, high-achieving coaches and so I think my parents are grateful that I make sure their boys get a chance to play.
September 17th, 2018 at 6:08 PM ^
What was that "4 and 26" part? Like what was he trying to say?
September 17th, 2018 at 6:09 PM ^
Michael Robinson later responded to another tweet, writing that Kelly's success at Oregon "was simply a fluke
WTF? Kelly was the OC for a couple years, before succeeding Belotti; Chip got the job b/c his offenses lit up the Pac-10 (now Pac-12). And that success continued for a few more years, before he went to the NFL.
I don't like Chip Kelly, overall, but the guy had a long record of success at Oregon. It wasn't a fluke.
September 17th, 2018 at 6:16 PM ^
Especially considering Kelly's OC destroyed the program within two years of taking over.
September 17th, 2018 at 7:05 PM ^
...and that was the primary evidence that Mark Helfrich was basically a guy with a headset and the offensive playsheet who walked down the sideline pretending to have at least a modicum of input into the offense.
September 17th, 2018 at 6:09 PM ^
Meh. Dads gonna Dad.
September 17th, 2018 at 6:51 PM ^
Sorry, but no. If he wants to bitch at Kelly he should be a man and do it to his face, not online like a whiney, little, bitch.
It makes him look bad and it embarrassed the shit out of his kid.

Starting to think guys who are considering UCLA are wastes of time and potential bullets dodged.

September 17th, 2018 at 6:18 PM ^
His Twitter handle is @DoriansDAD! What an unbearable jackass!
September 18th, 2018 at 5:41 AM ^
Was going to point this out.
What a loser this guy is.
September 18th, 2018 at 8:05 AM ^
You mean unbareable Jackass
September 17th, 2018 at 6:21 PM ^
Seems like certain parents need a version of this decision tree.
September 17th, 2018 at 7:58 PM ^
His son hasnt played well at all either and it's not all on Kelly.
September 17th, 2018 at 8:23 PM ^
Isn't that precisely why he went there, because the team wasn't very good and he wanted to play right away?
