| 5 days 3 hours ago | This always made me wonder |
Why schools take a loss but yet they divide the bowl earnings evenly over every school. So really the only schools that come out in the plus financially are those that miss a bowl since their expenditures are zero. Would it not make more sense for each team to take out their expenditures (within reason) and the leftover money is divded evenly? I'm sure actually being good enough and going to a bowl offsets the fact that some lose money on the trips but still. |

| 1 week 4 days ago | I would think new legends jerseys would still be possible |
I would think the kid has a chance to graciously decline the offer for switching numbers and continue wearing his orginal number. This would also allow the competitive by nature athlete to make a legend number himself. |
| 3 weeks 6 hours ago | Had just watched the video when I pulled up Yahoo |
After I saw the NC game highlights I came here and already posted. Fun stuff. I've been working on videos myself...I did this one rather quickly.

I had done a search on Google for "Detroit Tiger's Radio" and saw some radio stations I was familiar with back in MI and then went to some AM affiliates. Two actually worked but for some reason the radio commercials didn't line up with the breaks at every half inning so you'd be in the middle of an at bat and it would cut away to commercial and then come back to some random point in the inning. At first I thought it was just the one station but tried another and the same thing happened. I haven't really tried since but should. I enjoy listening to them casually at work when they have the day games. |

But he had nice help from a supporting cast. |

McGary was a freaking beast. Midrange shots were timely. |

How much Lewan and Trey talk. Wonder if Taylor stresses Michigan and the whole college experience to Burke. I'm sure it gets even better as upper classmen. |
| 8 weeks 5 days ago | TIMMY! |
Had it going. Hopfully Burke was saving his best for Saturday. Nice to see GRIII stroking it again. Hopefully having more guys peaking these next few games. Resting Morgan? Keeping him fresh for VCU? |

Jamie Lee Curtis apparently attended school for a semester and dropped out and made the list. |

Transition 3s. If he's on could bode well. We should move all practices to the real Bil Davidson player development center this week...The Palace! |

Two seasons ago for one. Loved that game, esp living in TN. |

Youth, no matter how talented, can't always trump seasoned veterans. Go down to the Y and watch the old dudes take it to the high flying high school kids (extreme example I know). Not only is there teamwork and gel on offense but a lot on defense and the best way to solidify any team into a truly solid one is time. May be another horrible example but I look at my younger brother's AYBT (form of AAU) basketball team. Most of their tournaments as freshmen/sophomores they were playing against juniors and seniors. Many times their tallest guy would be the other team's shortest starter but at the end of the game my brother's team would be up comfortably. They started playing together in the 5th grade so by that time they were all in sync. Last year's Michigan team was less talented overall than this year but they had senior leadership from guys that were in the program for 4 years. The game slows down as you get older which could be seen yesterday as Wisconsin's older team seemed to be able to run at half speed and take out Michigan's youthful team running full pace all game. I would say Mattison's defense was comprised with a lot of guys that got playing time early on in their careers so he wasn't starting over like Rich chose to do. This has helped the football transition. Basketball has transitioned which is why I think it's just lack of upperclassmen running the court. THJ is about it. Burke does it out of necessity but being forced (probably a harsh word to use) into that position two years in isn't quite as effective as a player 4 years in that has gone through the entire process and comes out hardened. |

| 10 weeks 2 days ago | IU fans |
So you're saying they're handicapped? Would it also be the 'former' part. The latter would be a strong suggestion, yes? |
| 10 weeks 3 days ago | Wouldn't say IU is not motivated |
Having an outright championship you share with no one in the balance is motivation. More on the line for Michigan shouldn't be misinterpreted as unmotivating for IU. |

You get a bit different sense of Hawkeye in different DVD versions. I forget which expands on some of his dialogue. There were at least 3 scenes cut short where he's said more, usually a quip in his response. When first arriving at the fort, one buddy of his already there asks him, "We didn't think you and Uncas were joining in this fight." Hawkeye's response is, "We didn't." Yet in the other DVD he adds, "We just stopped in to see how you boys were doin." When they're walking to get to the fort in the conversation between Duncan and Hawkeye, Duncan asks, "There is a war, how is it you are headed west?" Hawkeye responds, "Well we face to the north and real sudden like turn left." (Great response by the way). Hawkeye adds, "We ain't your scout, not your damn militia either." In the extended version of the conversation he adds, "Clear it up any?" There's at least one more but can't remember off the top of my head. Unfortunately I have the sortened version on DVD (also the last fight scene is modified). In the version I have, the last blow to Magwa is shown in a slow motion/blurry shot. The original is just a normal shot which is much better IMO. |
| 10 weeks 4 days ago | All-time favorite |
Last of the Mohicans. Great cinematography, great soundtrack. Cold Mountain also very good. Fiday Night Lights - my favorite sports movie. Lead me to Explosions in the Sky...one of my (if not my) favorite band. 28 Days Later - my favorite 'horror' movie. Not that big into horror films but this one struck me. Have to agree, Boondock Saints is a great under the radar film. Any architecture enthusiasts out there: My Architect. Very good film on Louis Kahn directed by his son.
Good topic. I've scrolled the thread and have lots of movies written down I may need to see now! |

If you want a hilariously bad movie experience. Supposed to be a horror film but turns out to be quite the comedy as far as how low budget it is. |

Good movie. |

hahaha...I'll have a coke! mmmmm...tell me one more. Unfortunately Boondock Saints II, one of the worst sequels of all-time. |

| 11 weeks 1 day ago | Jayru Campbell |
Yes please! Devin's play this fall could play in nicely as Jayru could see how he'll fit in behind center a few years down the road. Two-year state champion behind center. Another two years to go. Assuming those go to plan, that would put him on pace for 4 NCs going into college. I like it. |
| 11 weeks 2 days ago | Adreian Payne |
Gives a piss poor floor slap which allows his man to alley oop on the next possession. Sparty really needs to practice this drill this week. It's a glaring weak spot and will expose them come tourney time. |

but Michigan "gets it". A bit more subtle but Trey still tells sparty to GTFOMC ala Darius Morris. |
