2014 BCS National Championship Open Thread

Last one, heald in the Grand Daddy of them all!

Florida State is favored by 13 on a neutral field, by some ESPN bottom line metric.  Will Jameis Winston with the Heisman and MNC and end the SEC's run of 6 straight?

Auburn is the self-proclaimed team of destiny.  Will they have one more miracle tonight?

Line: FSU - 10.5

Over/Under: 67.5

SLIGHT MOD EDIT - Not really OT for our purposes. We'll make this the open thread. - LSA

Yes this is what college football is going to.  That is why it may have been a mistake not giving RR another year and more support!  Louisville loses their head coach to Texas and who is their top choice RR.  In another couple of years at Arizona, you will see another major college progrm go after RR.

But we always have manball!

Just like there was proof against Gibbons? If it was there, it wouldve been persecuted. We can't be sure that either one of them were rapists, so I feel like neither one of them deserve the associated ire. Falsely blaming someone for rape is just as bad as blaming a rape victim. If we don't know, we should hold off passing judgement.

FSU needs a key defensive stop and then needs to establish the run.  Slow this thing down so they can catch their breath and regroup.  If not, it could get ugly, they seem really rattled as a team.

so its really two plays from being 21-0 Auburn (the chris davis slip on 3rd down and the wide open drop/miss on auburns first drive). how do you spell BCS? SEC.

Apparently they have actual coaches (e.g., Sumlin) saying things that have actual football content.

Unfortunately I don't get that channel...

Haven't watched Winston play this year but I must imagine this is a far cry from his performance most of the year.  Straight up overthrew that guy 2 yeards high on a simple out.

I thought FSU's D would be a lot better. This is just getting pathetic. SEC's reign continues I guess, if FSU doesn't do something soon.

This is stupid. Why? Because it has been proven countless times on here recently that Michigan's scoring average is better with Hoke. Not to mention the scoring against the better competition. RR was terrible against teams like MSU.

I even liked RR and thought he should stay, but he really didn't do well against some of the better competition.
