Is his last name Williams? I think I saw him playing TE for Minnesota.

He'll have to change his name to "DatBronco"

There was an article back in August about him actually giving football another shot, but at a community college in New York City. Not sure why exactly he would go full circle, but oh well, right?
Harris' words from the article:
"I can go back to college if I want to but it's not like...I'm not gonna go and shame the name of MSU football by being a Division I athlete and then rapping about what I rap about. You can't do that. If I went up there they would not allow me to rap the way I rap, they would not allow me to do the things I do. It's just natural, people forget that it doesn't work that way. It's not like I can just go up there and play football and rap. It doesn't work like that."

Don't buy that story. MSU pulled his offer because of the video-taped drug use and he tried to pretend it was his call.

How is that safety's "music career" going? USC has people like Snoop promise to get recruits "into the business" if they sign with USC. Someone needs to ask recruits how many rappers and hip hop artists played football at USC and actually got what Snoop promised them.
I am guessing the answer is "zero."

I tried to embed the video, but apparently I suck at the internet.
I figured someone would step up.

That token white guy looks like he wasn't even invited to be in the music video. He just followed them around all day, trying to convince them that the camera definitely couldn't see him.

Good, amidst everyone making fun of MSU, I felt sick to my stomach for that kid passing up playing football and a free education to "rap." Glad to see he's going back to football.

Yeah, he really missed out on State's legendary ability to develop WR talent. He could have maximized his abilities just like Burbridge and Arnett currently are.

Sarcasm noted. Any other year, OK. Right now? I'll pass on taking shots at the player development of another program.

He can pursue music as a hobby in the offseason, but as a former college teacher I like to see kids in school where they belong.

I'm guessing record companies weren't knocking down his door.
I would love to see a Where are They Now? 10 years from now featuring the whole crew in the video.

What are they thinking at WMU? I'm sure this will work out well for them.

I agree with you that posters should generally be extremely wary of making fun of 17 year olds.
However, there is a big difference between commenting on someone's appearance or their decision of where to attend college, and commenting on their open misogyny, drug use, and general douchiness. It's tough to watch a video featuring the subject himself endorsing rape and comical thuggishness while constantly smoking blunts and still say "I have no comment on that young man's character."
