SUNY-Buffalo beat UConn 41-12 today. Recommence TEH PANIC.

Notre Dame got beat solidly too. We know we have work to do. It does not matter how many times we say it, we already know it.
September 28th, 2013 at 11:10 PM ^
Eh, I'm not sure you can use the transitive property effectively in this manner. Regarding our UConn game, we were two fluke(ish) plays (Gardner's fumble recovered for TD and the punt hitting Da'Mario Jones that UConn recovered on the 8) from winning 31-7 or similar, despite our dismal showing. Maybe we have our hands on the panic button, but not quite ready to press yet.

LOL at how the announcers thought Hyde had made a great play, only to discover on replay that he's actually done an idiotic move by stepping out of bounds.

As long as they keep all 3 timeouts in their back pocket, the clock's not a factor. The key is to score here without using one. If so, you don't have to kick it onside.

It's @OSU.

Man Wisconsin really would have had a chance tonight if they hadn't shot themselves in the foot so many times.
September 28th, 2013 at 11:15 PM ^
Wow Cal now has 4 turnovers and there are 6 minutes left in the first quarter.
September 28th, 2013 at 11:15 PM ^
Wow, Ohio State's schedule is a joke. After this, @Northwestern is the only challenge until they visit Ann Arbor. @NW, Iowa, PSU, Purdue, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan. Combined with their pathetic non conference schedule, that's crazy.
September 28th, 2013 at 11:19 PM ^
DIdn't someone say they would probably have a dozen teams favored over them on a neutral field yet still expect them to make the MNC game (and promptly get blown out of the building by 'Bama)?
September 28th, 2013 at 11:18 PM ^
Illinois and Indiana are both much improved squads. But yeah, not a bad lineup for the bad guys.
September 28th, 2013 at 11:16 PM ^
Stave will throw 3-4 excellent passes in a row and then an absolutely horrible one. Really Jekyll and Hyde.
September 28th, 2013 at 11:17 PM ^
It's insane how easy of a schedule they've had the last two years. Sets up perfectly for them.
September 28th, 2013 at 11:19 PM ^
That looks like a catch! It looks like he's down and has possession at the 1.

Well Wisconsin can't say that it hasn't had its chances
September 28th, 2013 at 11:19 PM ^
I'm wondering why that's not a catch myself
September 28th, 2013 at 11:20 PM ^
He'll miss
edit: Glad I'm wrong

Three straight drops before that FG. Fitting for Wisconsin tonight.

TIL, Abbrederis is a ginger
September 28th, 2013 at 11:24 PM ^
An onside kick with three timeouts left from the coach that just zookpunted the previous posession? Sure...
Edit: after seeing how deep that went, that it was actually pretty low-risk and I was wrong.
September 28th, 2013 at 11:22 PM ^
I liked the call there. Even if it doesn't work, you leave them in somewhat crappy field position.
September 28th, 2013 at 11:23 PM ^
Holy shit that almost worked

Oregon football is fun to watch.

I thought it was illegal to intentionally knock an onsides kick out of bounds?
September 28th, 2013 at 11:24 PM ^
It touched an Ohio player.
September 28th, 2013 at 11:27 PM ^
No I mean illegal for OSU to intentionally knock it out of bounds, which is what the return man appeared to do. Maybe that's only in the NFL.
September 28th, 2013 at 11:32 PM ^
Oh - I misread. I think if you have possession it is, but I'm not sure if you just hit it.
September 28th, 2013 at 11:26 PM ^
I didn't know that was a rule. Maybe, they don't consider pooch style kick "onsides"

The onside kick Brent was referring to. Actually pretty cool. I've never been able to get the embed thing down.
September 28th, 2013 at 11:28 PM ^
Yeah that was cool. That syle of kick is technically called a Rabona.
September 28th, 2013 at 11:25 PM ^
Argghhh....almost a derp
September 28th, 2013 at 11:26 PM ^
What if Wisconsin recovered that fumble? WHAT IF?!
September 28th, 2013 at 11:27 PM ^
Wisconsin is going to have a shot. 1:40 left with no timeouts. It's doable.

September 28th, 2013 at 11:31 PM ^
Pac12 Network. Not sure what channel.
