I really think Indiana is unbeatable at Assembly. Shitty road team though.
January 12th, 2013 at 12:59 PM ^
Gophers turning the ball over too much, and I agree with the announcer that Tubby got out-coached in the first half. See if they can tighten it up in the second. Assuming we don't implode (we haven't yet) it will be a very different game when we play IU. Minnesota meanwhile is looking very mortal.
January 12th, 2013 at 1:03 PM ^
I expect the same outcomes as last year between IU and UM. Both teams have improved in all areas of the game at about the same level, therefore I don't expect a huge change in score differential between last year and this year. Both teams are mirror images of each other. They'll know how to slow each other down. And I firmly believe a close game favors Michigan this year.

I don't know who it will ultimately be but I think somebody from the conference wins it all in Atlanta this April.
As long as there aren't too many injuries no other team from another conference will be as battle tested.
Buckle up, saddle up, and whatever else for a great Big Ten season though this particular game has lost some interest for me due to Indiana's complete dominance. This NCSU game is interesting though.

time left in these games yet

what a game between Duke vs NC State....

Lesile has been lights out in the 2nd half... the dukies are really missing kelly
January 12th, 2013 at 1:41 PM ^
Not only are they missing Kelly today, Duke left its refs in Durham, apparently.

This one's a bruiser--they're lettin' 'em play and it's like football out there. Hopefully that will take some steam out of the Goofers, and Beilein has thoroughly out-coached Tubby in the Barn since '09.

Don't think we can overlook tomorrow.
We are probably the better team but it is in Columbus and it is a rivalry game. Think our guys will be ready to play especially with Number 1 potentially being up for grabs but OSU is going to do everything in its power to derail us.
Minnesota will be tough but the team definitely needs to take it one game at a time.
January 12th, 2013 at 1:59 PM ^
Who exactly is overlooking tomorrow? I think almost all of us agree that it's going to be tough.

I'm switching back and forth between Indy vs Minn and Duke vs NC State. It seems when I switch back to the Indy game, they are controlling the boards when they miss.
January 12th, 2013 at 1:50 PM ^
Lets go NC STAEE
January 12th, 2013 at 1:51 PM ^
Pack not locking this up yet.
January 12th, 2013 at 1:54 PM ^
I don't think Duke's coming back from this one. They need two 3 pointers and a stop just to tie with 1:30 left. Michigan could be the #1 team in the nation in just a few minutes
January 12th, 2013 at 1:58 PM ^
But I'll be damned if I'm not superstitious as heck. Do work in Columbus tomorrow and then we'll talk about #1!
January 12th, 2013 at 2:02 PM ^
looked like he might be hurt pretty bad, hip flexor type injury maybe, those things are lingering, Gophers always have this happen to them it seems
EDIT:
NVM, he's back playing, looked like it coulda been bad
January 12th, 2013 at 1:56 PM ^
Will NC State rush the court?
January 12th, 2013 at 2:00 PM ^
Absolutely without a doubt.
January 12th, 2013 at 1:56 PM ^
January 12th, 2013 at 1:57 PM ^
For those who aren't watching, and reading this without ESPN or any other score tracker open, Duke down 5 with 40 seconds remaining, no timeouts.
January 12th, 2013 at 2:01 PM ^
Up by 9!
January 12th, 2013 at 2:03 PM ^
BEAT OHIO
January 12th, 2013 at 2:04 PM ^
January 12th, 2013 at 2:04 PM ^
and the last unbeaten. So bizarre how far we've come in the last 5 years. Beat Ohio!
January 12th, 2013 at 2:07 PM ^
The wheelchair is on the court! The wheelchair is on the court!
January 12th, 2013 at 2:09 PM ^
Yeah, hope he's ok. Dude got wiped out.
January 12th, 2013 at 2:10 PM ^
Pitt just nailed a three at the buzzer to send their game against Marquette to OT! C'mon Panthers!
January 12th, 2013 at 2:22 PM ^
Aaaaaaaand Pitt is about to lose to Marquette. Apparently anyone can just waltz into the Peterson Events Center and run train on the Panthers.
January 12th, 2013 at 2:12 PM ^
Pitt taking Marquette to overtime. Could be a very good Saturday for Michigan.
January 12th, 2013 at 2:13 PM ^
Can't wait to watch tomorrows game!
January 12th, 2013 at 2:16 PM ^
January 12th, 2013 at 2:19 PM ^
Free throws: 34 - 12 for Indiana. Big Ten home cooking!
January 12th, 2013 at 2:20 PM ^
Oladipo just picked up his fifth foul, on the third time this game where he fouled a shooter behind the arc. Drrrrrrr.
January 12th, 2013 at 2:21 PM ^
This game is gonna go to overtime! Book it!
January 12th, 2013 at 2:24 PM ^
Minny just needed to make one more play and then you were right.
January 12th, 2013 at 2:24 PM ^
Nevermind. Apparently nobody told Minnesota to rebound the basketball.
January 12th, 2013 at 2:23 PM ^
Would've been Minny ball down 3 with 18.0 left but Zeller helped em nap the rebound and it's probably over now
January 12th, 2013 at 2:24 PM ^
Minn and IU scare the heck out of me...looking forward to matching up against the best to see where we stand
January 12th, 2013 at 2:24 PM ^
Ballgame in Bloomington. Had Minny gotten the rebound off that missed FT they were looking at being able to tie the game and send it to OT.
At least we have seen that IU can be vulnerable at home.
January 12th, 2013 at 2:25 PM ^
is one weird dude
January 12th, 2013 at 2:25 PM ^
Tom Crean is a dick. Leaves Tubby there waiting for him to come shake his hand.
January 12th, 2013 at 2:28 PM ^
Yes he is a dick, but I'll cut him some slack this time. His team just about blew a 20+ point lead at home. I'd be pretty mad too.
January 12th, 2013 at 2:39 PM ^
Being mad at your own team shouldn't prompt you to take it out on the opposing coach.
January 12th, 2013 at 2:27 PM ^
January 12th, 2013 at 2:31 PM ^
What team does that reflect on more? Is Minnesota that good, or is indiana a bit over-rated?
