Brandon Moore out for 2-3 weeks now
Am listening to the Inside Michigan Football Radio Show from Pizza House in Ann Arbor, and Brady Hoke just said Brandon Moore will be out for about 2-3 weeks instead of one.
Man I hope these freshmen can step up.
Also @mikerothstein tweeted it for confirmation.

It's Mike Kwiatkowski time!

You won't hear nothin' but Kwiatkowski blowing by you!
I'm sure someone can do better.

I'd like to think we can start pronouncing that Kawasaki. Rolls off the tounge better.
September 5th, 2012 at 7:40 PM ^
I know someone with the same last name.
It is pronounced QUIT-COW-SKI
September 5th, 2012 at 7:42 PM ^
Well that really blows my whole "quiet" thing I had going, so I'm going to choose to not believe you.
September 5th, 2012 at 7:50 PM ^
Yeah, Kawa-Saki. Isn't that what I said?
September 5th, 2012 at 8:00 PM ^
The true pronunciation is "KVEE-AHT-KOH-VSKEE," but who's really keeping track?

September 5th, 2012 at 9:29 PM ^
It's pronounced "WILL-fork"

Kroger. Get it right, people!
September 6th, 2012 at 10:31 AM ^
C'mon. It's Northfleet!
September 5th, 2012 at 8:03 PM ^
I know several families with that name, and some pronounce it QUIET-COW-SKI and others pronounce it KA-KUSKI. I was wondering which of the two Mike used, and it turns out the answer was behind door number three.

First they fight tanks on horses with lances and now this.

Watch yourself! My last name is very similar to Mike's.
First name is Mike and last name has a ski.

Everywhere I go, and when I meet new people they always mention my name sounds like that character from the Disney movie.
I swear, I can't count how many times I've been reminded.

MIKE WAZOWSKI!!

Pixar is insulted.

Mickey Mouse!! I love what you did in that Steamboat movie. It was tragic, yet so poignant! :)

We prefer Polack, thanks.
Why do Polack's end their name with ski?
Because they can't spell tobggan!

Ahh Poland. The home of the helicopter with an ejection seat.
/couldn't resist layin' out a middle school joke
September 5th, 2012 at 8:51 PM ^
We didn't have the Panzers or the element of suprise, or even just a single border to defend! Bad luck in 1939 let me tell you.
September 6th, 2012 at 7:59 AM ^
Contrary to popular belief, Poland did have armored vehicles. Only the Nazis had 3x more. And while I'm at it, Poland never attacked tanks with cavalry. That is a myth.
Poland would have fared better had its supposed allies actually done something, but the French cowered behind the Maginot line and the Brits did even less.

The Germans were all hopped up on amphetamines.
* Now back to the original thread *
September 6th, 2012 at 8:01 AM ^
FYI that is a myth. There was never a cavalry charge against tanks.

That's an old ad from the 70's and 80's for you young guys

I agree. I think against the next two teams, AJ Williams can do everything Moore would have done, and if he's not back for ND, it ain't no thang because Denard is going to torch them over the top anyway, and then run for 500 yards or so. Because it's ND.
September 5th, 2012 at 7:42 PM ^
I think Kwiatkowski actually looked pretty decent?
Moore seems like a great guy, but its not like we're losing David Molk for David Moosman
September 5th, 2012 at 9:07 PM ^
September 5th, 2012 at 9:11 PM ^
I believe he's referring to when Molk got hurt and Moosman moved over to C, and subsequently every snap went through the QB's legs. Thus, a large drop off from starter to second strong.

It was actually the Indiana game.

is the next Kovacs
September 5th, 2012 at 7:54 PM ^
Reading between the lines of coachspeak all through camp, I don't get the sense that Moore is that much better than the other TE's. And what an opportunity for Kwiatkowski! In the space of two weeks he's gone from a walk-on backup to a starter on scholarship. It has the potential for the sort of Rudy-made story everyone loves. Here's hoping he makes the best of it.

Not too worried about Kwiatkowski and the freshman. Really want to see the freshman play a lot. Helps out in the long run..

We are all pulling for him because, obviously.

Man... I wanted to get a nickname going and call him the Cumquat. Doesn't even fit at all!
This is not exactly dire. I feel bad for Moore, who was finally getting his chance, but for the team? Eh.
