I thought Saint Urban already lived in Columbus. BTW I thought buckeye fans thought he was a "dirtey SEC coach",but now he is the savior. Classy bunch in that town.
November 16th, 2011 at 7:53 PM ^
That took me down Coaching Search memory lane.
Don't ever do that again.
November 16th, 2011 at 7:55 PM ^
Yes, they have caught the virus. IIRC, most (99%) of our hunting down airflights proved to be totally incorrect. Didn't DB cover his tracks, knowing the planes were being traced? So I laugh because they are totally wasting their time.
Yet, they won't be able to stop.
On an unrelated yet totally related note... someone might want to restock the inventory of replacement "F5" keys in Columbus and State College computer stores.
November 16th, 2011 at 8:25 PM ^
Actually, it proved to be correct, despite DB's comments to the contrary
November 16th, 2011 at 9:37 PM ^
If I remember correctly, this is correct. Brandon tried to make himself seem so smart and that everybody else was stupid and didn't know what was really happening. In reality, the tracking of flights was mostly correct on what he was doing (visiting Miles, Hoke).
November 16th, 2011 at 7:55 PM ^
I wish I were at my computer to make them a version of the "CoachTracker"! Enjoy the ride 11w.
November 16th, 2011 at 7:57 PM ^
That one guy is right. What a glorious buckstache, indeed. What's a buckstache?
November 16th, 2011 at 8:08 PM ^
That photo of Woodard has the sign "Welcome Future Buckeyes" behind what looks to be prison bars.
November 17th, 2011 at 9:03 AM ^
I stared at this picture for five minutes laughing my ass off when I clicked on the link. Glad others caught it too.
November 16th, 2011 at 8:10 PM ^
Nice find.
Ok, ok. My interest is piqued. Your brother doesn't know who is on the plane though?
So who lives close enough to the airport to see who gets off the plane?
November 16th, 2011 at 8:18 PM ^
I'm surprised he spelled "piqued" correctly, I'm impressed.
November 16th, 2011 at 9:01 PM ^
trying to spell peaked
November 16th, 2011 at 9:47 PM ^
peeked?
November 17th, 2011 at 8:41 AM ^
peak\peek\pique is a pet peeve of mine. Also, I almost posted this as a thread yesterday, I wondered how long it would take you guys to find it. I tried to stop this because I knew I would slip down the slope of addiction. I tried to warn them, but they didn't listen. It will be a long next several months.
November 16th, 2011 at 8:12 PM ^
At least someone mentions that Florida's basketball team played at OSU last night...
Urban Meyer is not, repeat not going to coach at OSU.
November 16th, 2011 at 8:25 PM ^
Wanna bet on that?
November 16th, 2011 at 8:35 PM ^
Internet message board bets. You sir, must be quite serious.
November 16th, 2011 at 8:44 PM ^
"Oh, you never would believe where those coaching rumors come from..."
November 16th, 2011 at 8:58 PM ^
Shhhhh! Don't tell them that, I'm sure they were saying the same stuff about Harbaugh and Miles and enjoyed it when it came crashing down for us. At least let us get some laughs in at the expense of a few Buckeyes
November 16th, 2011 at 9:06 PM ^
I didn't think those two were coming to Michigan.
Urban Meyer is damaged goods and has a seriously cush job with ESPN. He quit at Florida because he thought he was going to a) die or b) not do a good job because he was afraid of dying. That's not the kind of guy who jumps in at OSU after only one season off.
November 16th, 2011 at 9:39 PM ^
Oh yeah, I mean if they had any sensibilty they would realize Meyer won't be coaching for at least 3-4 years (when his kids go off to college I think) if he even does that. But it's just fun to watch them get their hopes up.
And you can't deny people were getting anxious when Michigan planes and Domino's planes were reported to be in the areas with Harbaugh and Miles
November 16th, 2011 at 10:03 PM ^
because he was nailing a female student. Everyone south of the Mason-Dixon Line knows that. Yeah, that's right, he was so stressed from coaching, he needed to step down for health reasons to spend more time with his family. However, in the same week he quit coaching he was part of College GameDay....hmmmmm
November 16th, 2011 at 10:47 PM ^
His wife said either quit or we are getting a divorce. There probably arent any smoking hot athletic department women in Ohio so he should be fine.
November 17th, 2011 at 10:21 AM ^
Wait, what? I hadn't heard this rumor before.
November 16th, 2011 at 8:31 PM ^
Guys, calm down. Clearly Ohio State is looking to lock down a "decided schematic advantage," that's all.
/pleasemakethathappen
November 16th, 2011 at 8:49 PM ^
You sir, have hit gold. Cue the "Oh How I Ate, Ohio State" chariots.
November 16th, 2011 at 11:39 PM ^
You sound a little excited there, Ace. You wouldn't happen to represent the High Street Restaurant Association, would you?
November 16th, 2011 at 8:35 PM ^
Found this comment . . . interesting . . .
Please don't start this. I watched with UofM nerds tracking planes owned by the university and Dominoes fly from Baton Rogue and Palo Alto for months. It's pathetic.
November 16th, 2011 at 8:37 PM ^
Pathetic that we did it? Maybe...More pathetic that he tracked us tracking planes? Definitely.
November 16th, 2011 at 10:21 PM ^
Pathetic that UM fans are now tracking OSU fans tracking planes?
November 17th, 2011 at 12:21 AM ^
But now we're tracking them tracking us tracking planes...?
November 17th, 2011 at 7:42 AM ^
November 17th, 2011 at 8:44 AM ^
Yeah... I tried to stop it. Mainly because I knew I too would join in and get addicted. But here we are.
November 16th, 2011 at 8:41 PM ^
Well......
Today on WKNR (Cleveland Sports Talk radio) they were discussing for about 30 minutes if Smith would be rooting for OSU to LOSE to Michigan so he could make the coaching change without fan backlash. They are convinced down here that if Fickle beats Michigan he will get an extension and made the permanent HC.
Bobby Williams approves.
November 16th, 2011 at 8:43 PM ^
....that we need to let OSU get into field goal range once in the game just to make it look like they really tried?
November 17th, 2011 at 1:40 AM ^
LOL n00bs. Somebody should tell them they should be watching fights from Columbus to Willow Run. Meyer is doing the Michigan game this weekend.
November 16th, 2011 at 9:21 PM ^
in OH from a reliable source connected to college football says Urban has had some discussions with OSU. Figure floated was $6 mill/year.
Take it for what its worth...nothing.
November 17th, 2011 at 8:48 AM ^
Rumor has it Urban only wants 2-3yrs at OSU, in which case he keeps Fickell aboard as HC in waiting/DC. Which is a rumor soley because it is most of our dream scenario to have an NC experienced HC show our unexperienced Buckeye legend how to win a few BCS games then he takes it from there for the next 15 yrs.
November 16th, 2011 at 10:12 PM ^
is reporting Meyer to Columbus.
November 16th, 2011 at 10:25 PM ^
More apporpriately, DESMOND should go with his hunch and report the story on the morning of The Game.
November 16th, 2011 at 10:25 PM ^
delicious.
November 16th, 2011 at 11:36 PM ^
It's not Meyer on the plane, it's Jeremy Foley. Muschamp is out and Foley's in Columbus interviewing Fickell for the open position. Or Jim Bollman, depending on which rumor you want to believe.
November 16th, 2011 at 11:49 PM ^
DE Noah Spence was one of our remaining top targets. Very kind of 11W to bring such in-depth insight into our program.

If you disagree completely, I am pretty sure that doesn't mean what you think it means.
