I was impressed all around - in a game that I think we knew was going to be won with defense, they came through in ways I don't think we expected. That includes the three turnovers, the last by Lewis, which will hopefully be a Top 10 moment this week (robbery if it is not), and all of them at terrible, terrible moments for Wisconsin.

Outstanding effort by our D. Glad they stepped up. Really got tired of listening to everyone praise Wisconsin's defense all week long. When it mattered, we outplayed their defense by a lot. Guess what media? Michigan plays D also. Go Blue!

The most remarkable thing about the Lewis pick is that he seriously misplayed the ball. Even admitted it after the game. Things don't go well and that could've been six.

Yet he still made the play.

Wisconsin isn't good on offense.

But a great D locks down that kind of team. And did they ever. Remember, Michigan had to rely on the D in tight spots in 1997, like the Notre Dame game. This defense absolutely deserves every accolade we've given it.
