I am sincerely happy that this young man was able to experience a truly happy and positive moment in what is undoubtedly a very challenging life. Nothing in my very succinct statement implied otherwise. Again, and always, fuck OSU.

Looked to me like Barret should have pulled that ball and ran. Bailed out by the awful tackling.

But why did it look like Urban could give a shit less about the kid? The team surrounded him, coaches were shaking his hand ... Lou Holtz went and shook his hand ... Urban was across the field gumming it up with a few other guys .. didn't give a shit about that kid.

The whole broadcast? You saw the complete end of the coverage?

How do you know he didn't go talk to him after all of it was over? And he likely had to help set up how it would happen.

Shit on Meyer for a lot. You are reaching here.

Strange connection. My cousin's, Chad Studebaker, stepson. Urban and OSU have really taken him in.

This past year.. Harbaugh, catching on with Barrett Strong.

He is my other cousin, Lana Fitzsimmons son.

Cousins with dueling coaches in separate corners.

My family is True Blue all the way through, but I give Urban and OSU their due.  Jacob has been a friend of the team and personal friends with the team and coaches.  It goes way beyond a staged event or PR move.  Whatever faults or animosity towards OSU or their program you might have, what they have done here is as classy any anything from us in recent memory.

This is not dimissing or putting down Michigan's efforts with the Chad Tough or anything else, but OSU have stepped up to that level for Jacob.

Each Fall, one Saturday is selected by the American Coaches Association as the Coach to Cure Muscular Dystrophy.  Michigan has participated to varying degrees over the years and look forward to Michigan participating with enthusiasm going forward.
