Spring Game Inactives

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

After studying the rosters for Saturday, I noticed quite a few players are missing....anyone know the story on some of these guys? Obviously Drake (Johnson) and Khalid are recovering from injuries from last year.

This was touched on a little bit on the front page. A lot of guys on the DL weren't listed on either Maize or Blue teams. Here is the full list of 2015 Spring Game Inactives (i.e Street Clothes Team).

Thanks to this post, MacDonald Carey's voice speaking these very words will be in my head for the rest of the evening.

Then again, a spinning football with Doug Karsch using the same opening for "Countdown To Kickoff" could be interesting, to say the least.

I was much more busier than I ever was in my entire life, with a double major and grad school, while working part-time, then working full time in my late 20s. Time goes by faster when you reach the top of your career ladder and you have settled into a routine!

Agreed.  My theory is that as one gets older, each unit of time represents an increasingly smaller percentage of a person's overal live.  Thus, time seems to go by quickly.

Downside:  I'm 40 and I realize that 15 years just isn't that long of a period of time.  Thus 55 is practically on top of me.

Upside:  It gives you the patience to undertake long/ambitious projects.  Something that might take several years to accomplish no longer seems like a daunting task.

OK--back to the topic.  What the hell is wrong with our D-Line, as others have said?

You all need to shut up. I'm friends with Drake and I know way more then All you want to be sports reporters. You don't call or text him. I do. Yesterday on snapchat he was doing leg press. He's fine. So stfu

Fox has seemingly been permanently injured since he showed up.  I dont know if this is all from the same knee issues he had before he arrived.  He has never really participated and I am at the point I thought when Hoke referred to some guys taking a medical he would be it.

Furbush likewise has been hurt seemingly since he arrived on campus, albeit 1 less year than Fox.

Hill and Drake are obvious ACL recoveries.

People have stated that our starting DEs have been banged up this spring - so that explains Taco and Mario.

Pipkins just seems perpetually banged up as well.

Ross and McCray are bummers.  With a whole host of LBs graduating this year every snap for a guy like McCray is important to set him up for 2016.

Godin is also unfortunate.  While probably in our 3rd set of DTs he might get some DE time in jumbo sets if there are injuries elsewhere.

And yet he still wont play much if at all this year.. He has been injured every time he gets involved in practice.. It is clear he hasn't healed since hs. He prob never will to make any kind of impact either
