Spring Game Inactives
After studying the rosters for Saturday, I noticed quite a few players are missing....anyone know the story on some of these guys? Obviously Drake (Johnson) and Khalid are recovering from injuries from last year.
This was touched on a little bit on the front page. A lot of guys on the DL weren't listed on either Maize or Blue teams. Here is the full list of 2015 Spring Game Inactives (i.e Street Clothes Team).

I keep reading posts on him being injured, yet he's not on the list...possibly the coaches hoping it really isn't that bad...?
Let's just assume it's all a trick so that other schools don't see how dominant they actually are
Pipkins and Ross are seniors now. Where did the time go?
Thanks to this post, MacDonald Carey's voice speaking these very words will be in my head for the rest of the evening.
Then again, a spinning football with Doug Karsch using the same opening for "Countdown To Kickoff" could be interesting, to say the least.
I remember seeing Royce and Terry Richardson when they were playing at Cass Tech. Jourdan Lewis was a HS junior then and now he's going into his junior year at Michigan.
Just wait until you hit your 20s man - time is really going to speed up.
I was much more busier than I ever was in my entire life, with a double major and grad school, while working part-time, then working full time in my late 20s. Time goes by faster when you reach the top of your career ladder and you have settled into a routine!
i'm sorry and this isn't meant to be condescending, but you have NO idea how fast time flies at 40. It's incredibly depressing....
Agreed. My theory is that as one gets older, each unit of time represents an increasingly smaller percentage of a person's overal live. Thus, time seems to go by quickly.
Downside: I'm 40 and I realize that 15 years just isn't that long of a period of time. Thus 55 is practically on top of me.
Upside: It gives you the patience to undertake long/ambitious projects. Something that might take several years to accomplish no longer seems like a daunting task.
OK--back to the topic. What the hell is wrong with our D-Line, as others have said?
what playground is this OK? Sheesh! <MgoDad mode engaged!>
It was hinted that Pipkins suffered a significant injury, but that is completely unconfirmed.
Wasn't it mentioned that he tore his hamstring again? How come he's not on this?
Because he was on the roster released for the spring game.
And he did not tear it, the accurate rumor was that he tweaked it.
Yeah, I think someone posted a couple days ago that a press release about a torn hamstring was imminent, but that obviously has not happened.
I'm going to need to know what kind of street clothes the inactives will be wearing.
I am going to assume khakis will be involved. Or maybe that's just staff and fans.
Fox has seemingly been permanently injured since he showed up. I dont know if this is all from the same knee issues he had before he arrived. He has never really participated and I am at the point I thought when Hoke referred to some guys taking a medical he would be it.
Furbush likewise has been hurt seemingly since he arrived on campus, albeit 1 less year than Fox.
Hill and Drake are obvious ACL recoveries.
People have stated that our starting DEs have been banged up this spring - so that explains Taco and Mario.
Pipkins just seems perpetually banged up as well.
Ross and McCray are bummers. With a whole host of LBs graduating this year every snap for a guy like McCray is important to set him up for 2016.
Godin is also unfortunate. While probably in our 3rd set of DTs he might get some DE time in jumbo sets if there are injuries elsewhere.
For two huge reasons:
1.) Bone crushing block against ND
2.) Versace haircut
What happened to Chris Fox? Talk about someone falling off the radar.
He remains in the witness protection program that Blake Bars and Tom Strobel have only just emerged from in the past 3 weeks.
You can bust a knee by falling off a radar...? That must be one helluva radar
Ugh.
That was the 1 position group we simply could not sustain an injury with both Beyer and Clark gone. Probably going to see a lot more 3-4 if its anything that carries into the fall with guys like Henry and Wormley out wide.
Source please?

I'm excited to see Ty Isaac finally play.
I find it odd Drake Harris isn't on the inactive list.
Itching for a drink...
has it been revealed what the reward is for the team that wins on saturday? sprints after the game?
JH will split the winners into 7 v 7s, those winners advance to 3 v 3s playing without a football, and the final 3 winners advance to a spirited knock out round of Rock, Paper, Scissors...
