There is a rumor of Miller transferring and probably already stated on here, but Paul Finebaum was saying there was a chance that Miller goes to Alabama.

Dr James Andrews performed Braxton's surgery. Braxton has gone down 3 times for follow ups to make sure the rehab is both on track and accurate. Dr Andrews office is in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr Andrews is also the team doctor for Alabama, Auburn and the Washington Redskins. Additionally, Braxton's very close childhood friend is Trey DePriest who is an LB for Alabama. They have hung out when Braxton came to see Dr Andrews. Que up Finebaums click bait vagaries about Braxton eyeballing Alabama football. Editor's note: A source said I may actually be Braxton Miller typing in 3rd person.

So you listen to Finebaum's radio program? Even if you're taking "click bait" at its most literal use, there is plenty to click on...His employer ESPN posted Internet stories about this citing "sources" as well and click-able stories about Sabans subsequent comments on this. There are podcasts to click on. There are snippets of his show to click on. Plus there is all other web content from other entities crediting ESPN's Paul Finebaum and his sources. So, yes, there was plenty of click bait created to keep Finebaum relevant (including this thread). It was an unsubstantiated rumor purposefully floated out there by Finebaum without any credible sources to elicite a response by two rabid fan bases. Mission accomplished.

If he did it to "get back" at Urbs and the Army of Darkness than it'd make a good side story in November. But if he has to start at QB at anytime it'll be another looooong year.

Quite frankly, I'm shocked it seems there's so much joy for all these potential transfers; don't get me wrong, Harbaugh is making shrewd moves under the circumstances and he's right to ramp up the competition to make everyone better, but it does surprise me that so many are rooting for the the guy who "didn't stay" over the guys that suffered through the last few years and didn't bail.

O well, maybe they'll just change it to "those who stay will be replaced by other guys who didn't stay at lesser programs".

Sam Webb retweeted about Robert Washington (4* RB) announcement coming up.  That could be the compeititon with all the other RBs (including Falcon) already around....

Sam is increasingly convinced that we'd take Washington still...it's not necessarily 3 running backs that would baffle me but 3 running backs of the same style. I could see them taking a speed, 3rd down back (like if Anthony MacFarland was in this class) but washington doesn't make sense, especially given how he compares to Falcon when Falcon is healthy.

My guess is a home and away series vs a high level team using third party officials to guarantee neutrality. Notre Dame comes to mind.

I'm still partly convinced that ND cancelled the series just becasue DB was such a world class ass clown.
