Happy New Year! Yes - this game was in contention for worst bowl game of the year; 0-0 at halftime,
The other contender is the aptly named Cheez-It Bowl (I kid you not) on Dec. 26, 2018 had 9 interceptions, including a rare INT thrown by the QB after he had already received a forward pass on the play and AFTER crossing the line of scrimmage.

The weird thing is that a lot off teams played well against OSU this year. Purdue clobbered then, Maryland should have won, PSU gifted them a win.

That offense reminds me so much of Michigan in 2018. The defense is talented and well-coached but holy hell that offense is a mess, especially the line.

The reason is probably due to the noticeable decline of our offensive production in the last, what, 4 games of the season? I mean let’s be fair, if our offense from the last four games was how we played during the early and middle part of the season, we probably wouldn’t have 10 wins.
Is our offense as bad as Sparty’s? Lol absolutely not. But the last few games are about as close as you can get.

Idk, personally I thought rock bottom was the last few years of Hoke. At least with Rich Rod we saw an identity emerging and each year was a slight but steady improvement. Like, I at least felt like RR knew where he was going with the program.
Under Hoke it just felt like he was utterly clueless as to how to lead the team. I got some serious deer in headlights vibes from Hoke. Nice guy and all but he just seemed like he had no clue what he was doing with the program.

You didn't take joy in beating last year's one-loss orange bowl champions by 25 after they pummeled us last year? You didn't take any joy in beating last year's Fiesta bowl champions by 35 after they embarrassed us last year? And you didn't take any joy in winning a rivalry game on the road against a coach who only wants to beat Michigan and had done so every year with the exception of twice since Carr was coach? That sounds like your issue, not the fanbase's.

Off course everyone took joy. But is that our expectations? Just beating teams that beat us the year before. We should be expecting better than this. As much as I hate on harbaugh he is our best bet to win right now and he’s not that far from getting us to the top. I just hope he can do it soon

Sparty offense finished 126th of 130 FBS teams in points per game. The teams behind them? UTEP (1-11), Central Michigan (1-11), UTSA (3-9), and of course, Ruggers (1-11).

In their two games against offenses worse than their own (Ruggers and CMU), they won both games at home by a combined score of 45-30. Those two wins make up almost 1/3 of their total wins this year
