I'll take a hard pass on DC.

I did public sector work for a few years. Hated it.  Takes 2 years to get 6 weeks worth of work done and I worked with morons.

I'm at a Big 4 firm now and I work with really smart people -- who will do anything to shit all over anyone and anything as they make their way up the ladder to partner.

Since I've been a part of 2 extremes, I was hoping there was a place somewhere in the middle.  I guess not :(

I asked Santa for Kate Upton for a few days.  He said that is impossible.  He needed me to make a reasonable request.

I then asked for a new MGoBlog banner.

He then asked me how many days i want Kate Upton for.

I am actually working on "hoops" one ... Sort of like last year ones.
But I made sure I included Juwan with PJ Tucker. It was submitted to the boss last night...

As for my ask - I would have normally asked  "Anyone have an old Leica M6 they would like to part away? One day it will be mine".

But this year I would say no more stupid camera repair / health / house / car cost that ruined the money pot I have been working to pay the cost of becoming a US citizen so I can vote.

Upgrading my AV receiver so we can upgrade our TV.  Just waiting it out to see if anything gets discounted before, or after Christmas.  I'm leaning Denon, or Yamaha.

I'd like for someone to pay my Mastercard bill(s).  Other than that, socks I guess.

Mrs. Hatter sometimes will give me a sort of IOU saying something like "I will be your slave for 24 hours" or other such kinkiness.  She means it too.  So I've got that going for me.

Which is nice.

To figure out what to give my wife for Christmas.

My challenge is I stupidly got married on December 31st so I've got to come up with a good gift twice in a short period of time.  That's not easy and when you figure the anniversary gift has to be romantic that means the Christmas gift has to be practical but not TOO practical so my options are limited.

Santa wants to help a brother out?  Help me figure out what to give her.  I'm set and don't anything.
