You Only Live Twice

I hear things at work such as, "ONLY Michigan fans think this" or "ALL of the other school fanbases also think they weren't treated fairly" etc.  It boils down to facts, which cheaters hate. Please don't rain on their parade with facts.   Lloyd Carr wasn't HC of a school where the AD/HC was caught lying to the NCAA about a transgression that was not even close to the same level of SEC transgressions.  Michigan?  Please.  We are chronicled in the press for practicing too long.

Carr wasn't the perfect leader. Our D started to give up during his tenure.  However, LC is also universally acclaimed for honesty and integrity. OSU, sadly not as much.  They don't play school and have not for some while.

Bo Schembechler was a unique individual.  His influence shaped our program and continues to this day.  Occaisonally this will work to our disadvantage, and insult of false equivalence will be added to the original injury.

So what's the effect of a Buckeye on the CFP committee.  If he gets a vote he'll vote against us, if he has to leave the room, hopefully his influence leaves also.  It certainly will not rise to the same level of disaster as the Buckeye officiating team.

All I know is that OSU can try and position themselves on tv, selection committees and having their own fans ref games but when it's all said and done, their demise will still happen. Bo said it best that there will be one team at the top when the old season is over. Michigan! Fuck them cheating envious losers. Their ass kicking is coming.

One thing I have noticed over the years is that more often than not new judges tend to over-compensate.  For example, defense attorneys tend to be somewhat pro-prosecutor when they "ascend" to prove to everyone they are not biased.  Former prosecutors tend to be pro-defense for similar/opposite reasons.

This could go a few ways.  Gene could advocate for us to prove his lack of Michigan bias.  Gene also could advocate for other conferences to prove he's not favoring the B1G.

I wish Lloyd Carr was still on the committee, but such is life, eh?

Hollis would try to screw Michigan AND gimmick the crap outta the playoffs. I can just see it now.
Hollis: Hey guyz, I have an idea.

Committee: No Mark, for the last time, we can't play on the moon.

Hollis: Not that! I was going to say let's play on a aircraft carrier...

Committee: You already did that with basketball.

Hollis: You didn't let me finish...An aircraft carrier... in Alaska!

But if Lloyd had stayed it would have been fine. Although fine has variable definitions so it is unacceptable. (borrowed from Star Trek all credit to the screenwriter).

Hell-  why not have Gene Smith be the commissioner of the Big 10 and Ref the OSU/Michigan game this year.  Althought I don't know if the refereeing would be any worse with Gene Smith doing the reffing.

Anyone from OSU is going to be so biased that it is ridiculous.

He's as unbiased as the skunk refs who cheated ohio into the playoffs (where they got exactly what they deserved). There are plenty of people who could do a better job than him.

Wouldn't trust them. Michigan really needs to check into who exactly voted him in. There is no way a position like that should be allowed to someone who just came off probation. The whole system needs to be overhauled with the rampant collusion that goes on.

People need to remember this asshat was the Director of Enforcements for the NCAA before the suckeyes hired him.  That hire wasn't because he was a great leader.  He had connections at the NCAA that has served the suckeyes well.
