1. I don't see how any current AD can be on this comittee.
2. I don't see how any AD who recently had a coach with a show cause ban on his watch, could be on this committee.

handle referee assignments.

This is how the NCAA "punishes" cheaters. Fuck the NCAA.

If you can't get the refs to do your dirty work for you, just get the committee.

Does he have to recue himself from 0SU voting?

"Uh, they shouldn't make it"

And, you know, suffered children to be raped on their premises - covering up for the rapists and all for decades, all to preserve the cult status of one of the chief enablers.
That's another reason.
January 13th, 2017 at 8:50 PM ^
because they beat OSU and had a good seaon. The raped children must be feeling muchbetter about life.

Man i can never forget when, out of morbid curiosity, i turned on the nebraska-penn game briefly after the scandal broke, and some self-absorbed fuck in the student section had a sign "For the kids" I turned it off quick

obviously Penn State made it a moot point, but there was discussion about what if Wisconsin won the Big Ten and it was them or M/OSU representing the Big Ten in the CFP. Of course Alvarez has to leave for the Wisconsin discussion, but do you really think he'd give M/OSU a fair shake when they came up, knowing that if they get it then Wisconsin is out? No.

He should have to recuse himself from all B1G voting. Like that asshat is ever gonna be impartial about Michigan.

smith seems like a guy with principle and integrity. wait, what just happened?

Shhh. That sounds like logic and reason. Can't you see the children are partaking in shallow, paranoid axe-grinding?

If Washington lost the PAC12 championship game last year, do you think he would pick Michigan or Penn St?

Gene Smith was the chairman of the basketball selection committee. Other than you not liking him I can't see the problem with this.

Seconded Brad.
I've always been slow to catch on to things, now have developed an unwanted understanding of the term "concern trolling."

Smith, who has been Ohio State's AD since 2005, knows a thing or two about selection committees as he previously spent five seasons on the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Committee and served as its chair in 2010-11.
It's still alright if we can get Smith to agree to recuse himself when they are talking about football, right? I mean, if he can get the organizational hierarchy backwards, surely he can be made to agree to this.
