really.

Said it back in December, I think... this team has the potential to go really really far & do really really well.

Held back from using the "s"-word; didn't want to jinx it.

But yeah.

In a way I haven't felt for a long, long time.

And the thing I really like is how everyone contributes to it.

Matthews will bloom, too.

Loving the emerging consistency. Feels much more solid.

Total appreciation.

One more, then: time to shine.

Nice.

I suggest simply rooting against Nebraska. If the game finishes 1-0 and is the ugliest game of basketball ever played, but Nebraska loses, I’ll take it. I left BTN in after the game, and Minnesota is up by 10 on Iowa. So, for some reason, the announcers have started to talk about Michigan and the improved defense this season. Apparently Jon Crispin just really likes to talk about teams that aren’t involved in the game that he’s supposed to be analyzing. :)

Came here to see if M pulled it out BECAUSE DISH'S PIECE OF GARBAGE DVR CUTS OFF THE LAST 90 SECONDS OF EVERY. FRICKING. GAME. I am so done with this crap.

Testing out YouTube TV. I recorded the game and started watching the recording before ithe game was over. YouTube TV was smart enough to record the whole thing without me needing to add extra time to the recording. Very impressive. I also learned that YouTube TV streams in HD and sends surround sound when it’s available, unlike the other streaming services. I’m probably going to cut DirectTV any day now.

Not sure if it was because of him or the rest of the team not moving around and helping out, but Matthews was basically the entire offense the first few minutes. He definitely can't be the primary ballhandler. He's got plenty of talent to be a great role player though. Will be interesting to see if he can adjust and improve next year.

I was rooting for PSU --- but credit where it's due.  Even game with 10 minutes left and one team down the stretch was clearly mentally tougher, made more plays, and was better coached.

Teams that can pull away in an environment like tonight can make a lot of noise in the NCAA.

Michigan looks like a Sweet 16 team --- with the "potential for more" --- to me.

PSU predicted to win, and a trap game for our team. This could be another Q1 win if PSU beats Nebraska, and also may give us the 2 week bye for B1G tourney. Do well in that, and maybe a 4 seed possibly? Pretty huge.
