John O'Korn (Co-Champ Manning Passing Academy)
Of course, if you shout "Omaha!" anywhere else, there will probably be someone in the distance who would return with, "No way, man - Schwann's all the way!", causing Peyton to take it himself and promptly get stuffed for no gain by a rather large defensive tackle. I am sure they stick to the basics in the camps though.
In all seriousness though, congratulations to O'Korn - makes August 8th and the startof camp that much more anticipated.
Who DOES have the better steak? I've had Omaha once before and thought it was ok. My parents had all sorts of Schwann's stuff in the freezer growing up, but never steaks. Either way, the local butcher has to be the way to go.
def better at local grocery store, don't even need to go to the butcher to beat out the frozen steaks. We had a Omaha gift card and ordered some steaks and burgers. The steaks were ok, I'd never buy them for myself again, unless we got a great deal. They were convenient, though.
The burgers were shit. Avoid those at all costs!
Yeah, 5 or 6 should do the trick....
So O'Korn beat Speight. So clearly the QB competition is over and we have a starter.

But it didn't say he beat Morris.

Setting up to be a great competition in fall camp. We probably wont know the starter til game week. Maybe not until the offense takes the field. This is good.
You can bet we won't know until series one begins
I'll never know. I don't trust my own thoughts.

Based on what Harbaugh prefers, it will be the guy who makes fewer mistakes, not necessarily the guy with more flash and upside.

I would suggest that there is a "management" floor a player must reach before JH will look to other attributes. I know some coaches shade their stated appraisal of players as a motivational tool, but I believe JH hasn't reached a comfort level with either O'Korn or Speight and he will pick the safer, less mistake-prone player, at least for now.

Harbaugh's and O'Korn's statements. Both have said that there is too much inconsistency with the QBs looking good one day and then making mistakes. There is certainly time for either or both of the top 2 QBs to emerge like Rudock did, but there is also good reason to be concerned until one of them shows he can consistently perform at a high level.
Everything I heard from spring was that the competition was very tight with no leader coming out of camp. I htink that the competition will go throught the second weekend of fall camp unless one just breaks out with consistency. I just hadn't heard anything so am curious who you heard from.

Funny that Speight is mentioned in the second link but O'Korn was the champ.

I wish he could have played behind this o-line.
Oh man I've cried myself to sleep many a night to this. Garder would have been a cold blood killer if he were the starter this year and had a year or two with The Baugh, Fisch and Drevs.
Edit: Kidding about the crying. My body won't physically let me cry anymore. Sad to say I could've used the ability back then.
Well? How many times?
I can only imagine the Devin Gardner of Notre Dame 2013 being all the time. He was lights out that game....and then the rest of the season we let him get sacked until his ribs were turned to dust
