Is that theeee insufferable Nick Baumgartner in which you speak of? Wanna kick that guy in the shins so bad one day and pour my soda all over him when he drops to a knee.

LOVE how he said, "You want to know exactly what was said? Here is exactly what was said..... You want to call that a "heated exchange".... I know how you love your heated exchanges!"
Gold, JH! Pure gold!

Insider Scoop: Competitive and driven people get heated and upset when things don't go right and when people are not playing up to their abilities.

I imagine Harbaugh had a fair number of "heated exchanges" with his coaches when he was a player. Nordin may have actually improved his standing with Harbs with his emotional response.

It also shows MD how lame their fg attempt was, if they want to complain about running up the score.

That would have been basically a PAT. Nordin had kicked five of those already.

Harbaugh knows that letting this thing metastasize into some big deal in the press is not in the team's interests, so he's intelligently portraying it as something other than it was.
His immediate reaction after Nordin missed the FG was plainly obvious—he was pissed off—and trying to characterize his brief interaction with Nordin on the sideline as some sort of pleasant encouragement is directly contradicted by Harbaugh's own words:
“I think anger is a powerful motivator,”
Nordin is tied for 61st in the country in FG% and is 9th in the conference, and Harbaugh knows that with an offense that isn't exactly a juggernaut in scoring touchdowns he needs all the points he can get.

I would think the best way to manage kickers is to not put additonal pressure on them, but they don't pay me the big bucks.

Or the pressure makes him get his shit together and prepare harder...but they don't pay me the big bucks either ;(

That was awesome seeing Harbs in a great mood. Team is definitely improving despite the injuries.

Has anybody made a gif of them jawing at each other yet?
Jim: That's the last time I sleep over at your house!
Quinn: Fine! It wasn't really fun, anyways!

How everyone cares so much about Harbaugh's body language. Oh no, he's definitely leaving for the NFL, he only smiled twice this week...Enough already.
