Fuck the NCAA until they get their act together. Hang em up!
Anyone waiting on the NCAA to "get their act together" might be waiting a very long time. That organization is totally useless anymore.
Bring back the long shorts too... oh wait...
And black socks, obvs.
Yes. Hang the banners. Get all the stars. Make it a gigantic recruiting event.
Fire Mary Sue Coleman ... wait, that did happen.
Hang the Banners !
Invite her drunk ass out.
UCF would have our backs......
The decade of complete irrelevance was punishment enough. Throw them up so we don't have to talk about it anymore.
"Cheaters and best" does have a nice ring to it. Hang em up!
Do it. Do it.
The first one has always been legitimate. They won the region with all eligible players. The first violation occurred between the Elite 8 and Final Four.
Logged in to say: “FUCK YES.”
Hell yeah hang those banners!!
Hang the m f'n banners!!! Michigan made it easy for the NCAA back then, we should've done like all these other schools and imposed a one year post season ban and said come after us if you want more! Screw the NCAA!!
Fuck the NCAA. Coaches are paying players and getting away with. Arizona and LSU for example. Hang the banners. Go Blue.
Hang the banners! If the NCAA bitches, ask them about LSU, UNC, Arizona.
The NCAA wouldn't care. Other programs with vacated wins left banners up. We took ours down because we had a couple of out-of-touch snobs as president and AD in the early 2000s.
and a 2013 NCAA Champions too
It's been 25+ years.
No matter what you think about what happened 25+ years ago, time is up.
There are actual crimes that don't get punished this long.
In a single word. NO!
Worst cheating scandal in U of M history. We've paid the price, and far more. Let it go. Let it stay buried..
Leaders and best. Either we hold ourselves to that standard or it's just some words from the past.
"Worst cheating scandal in U of M history."
Right. Except there wasn't one...
Agreed.
I'm for it. Michigan should just act the way it wants and ignore the NCAA. We don't have to become LSU, but there's no reason to give more than token respect to that particular governing body.
