TOM BRADY BACK TO THE SUPER BOWL WHO NEEDS THE PATRIOTS WHEN YOU GOT THE G.O.A.T.

Was I exclusively referring to playoffs when it comes to QB stat lines?

No.  Just Belichick.

It's pretty clear I'm talking about body of work with QBs.

Spend less time trolling and more time on some reading comprehension.

On the offensive side, the consistency of having Brady was invaluable with the changing personnel.

Brady's impact is even more magnified considering Belichick never really had much of a run game to balance the offense out.

Cassel went 36-45 for his career. The mental gymnastics you guys have to go through to refute the possibility that it's possible both Belichick and Brady are both great is astounding. It's always gotta be Either/Or.

I literally don't understand it. Just so you can feel better about a random Michigan alum? So you can brag to your sparty friend? What is it that blinds you?

What?  My point was that Belichick had a team that went 16-0 the year before and couldn't win the division the next year without his QB.  Belichick is good, a lot of coaches squander having elite QBs which he clearly didn't.  But it's also clear who played a significantly bigger role in the Patriots dynasty.

I mean, the Lions could draft Mac Jones and then he could win 13 Super Bowls and then he'd be the best ever, right?

Mahomes is obviously great. But time will tell. Brady's longevity is astounding. I really thought that he might be on the down side of his career back when he tore his ACL and missed most of the season. That was 13 years ago.

It’s odd to think that him leaving New England to make the super bowl with Tampa actually cements him as the greatest Quarterback in NFL history as it eliminates the argument that it’s because of Bellicheck

This is getting like the college football playoffs. It’s cool and all he’s a Michigan great, but if the Bills don’t beat the Chiefs, the Super Bowl won’t be interesting to watch. Either Tom Brady wins another Super Bowl or Chiefs wins back to back. I’m rooting for the Bills for some change in scenery.
I’m expecting fans here to down vote me lol I’d be shocked if you all don’t

Only if you’re a Tom Brady fan(Which I expect a lot of you are). It will be more interesting to see a team that hasn’t won a SB try and win one or a team/player that haven’t been there in a while. Bills would be cool to see win the SB and much more interesting than Tom playing in a tenth. Almost feels like Saban winning his 6th national championship.

I can be a Michigan fan and get bored with a Tom Brady SB appearance. Believe it or not, it’s possible and can happen. I’m not a troll by any means. I’m just stating an opinion. I’m not expecting people to agree (especially on here) and I mean no ill-will towards Brady. Individually, best QB to play the position. I’m just not excited for his TENTH SB appearance, that’s all.

Huge Michigan fan here, many family alums, but I think Rodgers deserved another shot and was rooting for him. Not a hater either. GB’s DC should be fired for that play at the end of the first half. The Jets fired Gregg Williams, their DC, for the same foul up at game end against the Raiders this year.

This really should end the debate of who is the best ever. The man took another team to a super bowl at 43 years old and will be his 10th(!). Whether he finishes 7-3 or 6-4 in super bowls doesn’t matter. He’s the best and I don’t think it’s particularly close anymore. No one has ever performed like this.

Had this conversation with my fiancee today.

You don't have to like Tom Brady, but anyone who continues to criticize or minimize him can be safely ignored at this point.

That can’t be true because according to every person on here over 30 every player in the NFL came from Michigan in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. And Jim Harbaugh has ruined that legacy. Every drafted player was a Wolverine and every season they were undefeated.......

I mean he did throw 3 ints. The Bucs won because of their defense. Brady shouldn’t get credit for every win when he plays like that.

On the other hand, maybe it’s even more impressive that he’s able to lead teams to the super bowl without playing very well himself. There is clearly an intangible he brings that can’t be measured in stats. It’s bizarre.
