Financial goal met, Ace is getting tatted - Posbang!

Submitted by redwhiteandMGOBLUE on January 15th, 2018 at 12:46 AM

With the generosity of the Michigan money cannon, the $30,000 fund raising goal for CFS has been met. This means that Ace will be getting some ink based off of someone's UM themed tattoo idea.

So let's have a posbang/tattoo idea thread to celebrate.

Also, you can still donate to the cause here -

Has to be a depiction of Brian, in his hockey jersey, at the helm of a Michigan-themed money cannon, with John Beilein standing next to him holding a sub, cartoon bubble with his quote about Ace's tweets. Tacopants depiction to be negotiated at $40,000.

For all the bickering I’ve seen over the years on this site, I’ve never seen a more generous group of readers. Whenever a call goes out for raising funds this group seems to double or triple a the goal every time.

I can truly say that it’s great to be a Michigan Wolverine!

Just alphabetically list all the donors in Flush Left columns of 11 in the Rockwell Extra font and capitalize all the letter M’s in 24 Pt Bodoni and show the rest in 18 Pt Bodoni and have a big gallery opening at Hill Auditorium and invite the donors to a huge VIP Gala with James Earl Jones and Jim Harbaugh as Masters of the Ceremony so everyone can take selfies with ace’s entire tatooed back and front on EUTM Football Commitment Day!
And, have Steve Harvey give a car away with Harbaugh during the Jimmy Buffet and Taco Charlton Awards
Banquet for The New and Annual MGOBLOG Category Awards from 2017.
And, don’t forget to invite the marching band and Chase Winovich...

My good buddy is a Spartan. He gets into the office three hours after me. There's currently a printed out picture of Wagner mean muggin Breslin hanging up at his desk. I can't wait to see his reaction.

Is it really a great idea to put a foreign protein into his lymphatic system for the next twenty years? Don't want to be a spoilsport but there is a health issue here.

And I'm loving the enthusiam about the tattoo. I never imagined we'd raise this much money this quickly, so we're scrambling to figure out the next stretch goal—which will not be a permanent mark on my body, I can say that much—but this is just starting to get picked up at some places beyond mgoblog and I'm so excited to see how far it goes.

We're packed on content today so I'll be writing a bit on this past week and posting the details of the tattoo contest tomorrow.

In the meantime, the documentary that inspired all of this, Unrest, is now on Netflix! That should make it easier for many of you, I hope, to take the time to learn even more about this fight. I'll go into this more tomorrow, but I'm very much an exception to the rule in a lot of ways.
