A couple of games worth watching - ohio v. sparty is a big one. Cal v. Oregon could be good and the SDSU game might be interesting. Hoping Northwestern prevails over Nebraska, and the Huskers lost Martinez, so that adds to the drama. Go cats.
Glad we won, even if the offense was (insert term of disappointment), we beat a well coached ranked team. Enjoy your evening, what's on your BBQ, what's in your cup, and what games are you watching?

NW got screwed by the refs. Two different receivers were interfered with on the late interception setting up Nebraska's winning fg.

Patterson actually has pretty decent arm strength, it’s his ability to read the field which isn’t great. But I get it, let’s pile on. Who would have predicted florida over Auburn, and Tenn hanging with Georgia.

actually Shea doesn't. at all. NFL scouts specifically knocked him after last year saying he had questionable arm strength and read somewhere (can't remember) a guy w/ first hand account of Shea this summer at a camp getting in a who can throw it the farthest contest and he threw it twice in the mid 50's and everyone else was at least 65yards. He doesn't have great arm strength or good for that matter

came off of an interception where the NW receiver was wrecked with interference but no call. tough way to lose.

Wide receivers have been taking more and more abuse over the last 15 years. Army and Wisconsin were grabbing Michigan's receivers and Michigan does the same back. I don't get it. It used to be that if you saw the uniform get stretched there was an immediate flag for holding.

I agree. I am glad we won but man was it unsatisfying. But it'll be interesting to see what Iowa does next week, hosting Penn state who will likely be top ten ranked.
I'm hoping Spartans win simply because we will need chaos to reach big ten championship.

Hope the Wings stick to the Hawks/Penguins model of tanking hard for 4-5 years and getting top picks. Have the makings of a good top line for now and the future (Bertuzzi, Mantha, and Larkin) Optimistic the Seider pick pans out, could still use another top pair d-man.

I'm probably in the minority here but I wouldn't mind if OSU steamrolls MSU. They're really good and it just is what it is. But if it means that the wheels start coming off for MSU, I'm totally down.

i think technically it is better for us if sparty wins. but them being paved over in columbus will be about as satisfying. that said, give dinnonio credit, sometimes he can surprise you. probably won't happen tonight, but that is why they play the games.

I second Yeoman's appraisal. While most of the M universe probably interacts with their fans one game a year, when you live in ohio their fanbase's insufferability is a yearlong reality. If a spontaneous black hole opened above their school and devoured everything about it including the very idea of osu, that, to me, would be good.
