Curious to see how much it fluctuates depending what MSU does against Iowa next weekend. Michigan hasn't covered against Sparty since 2006. Lets change that and blow them out under the lights .

I just feel like people are reading too much into that game. I was there and it was awful weather with high winds and snow. He had likely not been getting any first team snaps all year, Had no chemistry with any of those WRs and first team OL. No idea what we have in him now since his Houston days are so far in the past and from a different level of
Competition but the Purdue game was impressive given the circumstances he came in under.

As much as I love Michigan and believe they will win, I would leap on that spread for the other guys if I was a betting man.

Its the Michigan-MSU game fergodsakes.

Corntonio always seems to put on a K. Ferentz clinic when he's an underdog.  Which to me means:

-play bend but dont break defense, try to get the other team to eventually go 3 & out.

- run run run on offense with the idea it burns the clock, and it tires out the defense

- play field position whenever possible and pin the opponent deep, which feeds #1 above, try to get drives to flame out.

With the clock burning he limits the opponent's chances to get multiple possessions, thus keeping the score close.

In the 4th quarter, open up the playbook to things that have hardly been seen the first 3 quarters.  Its possible the opponent's defense is in a semi-prevent by then, trying not to give up a big play that would even the score or change the lead.

I respect Harbaugh's opinion about playing 12 or 1pm games like his mentor.  However I think Michigan needs to get tuned up for playing some night games this season.  I foresee Penn St and Wiscy as being good potential for night kicks.

Michigan 24, MSU 10.

Michigan State is not a very good football team. Of course, they will get up for Michigan and I expect the first half to be tight, but MSU is too loose with the football, an inconsisent passing attacks and they have clear problems in their back 4. I expect Felton Davis to maybe catch a couple long balls, but I don't expect MSU to be able to consistently move the ball against Michigan.

State fans already going apeshit with DISRESPEKT. Guys, how much better do you think you are than Purdue? Because Michigan just beat them by 18 at their place, so is this that unreasonable?

seems pretty freaking high to me but I'm sure that will changes very much based on msu's peformance against Iowa so we'll see. Let's not forget the offensive woe's of UM...msu isn't very good but i think this game is much closer than many think it will be. I bet we see a 24-10 or so type of game where michigan feels in control but jsut never really closes it out until the very end. We've all seen that story before lol so we should be accustomed to it.

When Pat Narduzzi was still on the MSU Deathstar conspiring with Darth Dantonio he was famous (or infamous) for having his linebackers consistently crash into M's O-line. This was bad news for Denard, Devin and the M RBs, who were good-to-great athletes but couldn't do everything themselves. Negative rush yards were the order of the day. Will history repeat?

No and no matter --- the M D will control the game, just as it did against Purdue. M will score and win by at least two TDs.
