Definitely interesting that in the last 5 weeks HaHa has gone from "It's too damn cold up there" to "I'll have to get used to the cold some time" and "we're all gonna go up there and visit again in a few weeks."

1) Why the hell would the whole Dr. Phillips crew be coming up if Dee & possibly others weren't thinking of getting the band back together.

2) Pie.

has, like, gormet food. They hand prepare it and put it out on plates for you to get. Great food. But the problem is they never have enough, cause its so popular now, so theres lines everywhere. And they have this dumb thing where they're "going trayless" so theres never enough trays.

The original name of the University when it started out in Detroit.

Although the Board of Regents was formed as a new legal entity in 1837, the Michigan Supreme Court ruled in 1856 that it was legally continuous with the Board of Trustees of the University of Michigan that was formed in 1821, and with the Catholepistemiad, or University, of Michigania that was formed in 1817. That act makes the University of Michigan officially, if not actually, the oldest university in the Big Ten;

We'll have a Southwestern quad that will trump all.  In addition to having the best of both worlds, there will be a distinct "New Mexico" decor throughout.  All of the plants will be cacti, there will be tile mosaics everywhere with sky blue, salmon and lime green tiles, and everyone will be required to where sunglasses and flip flops as a standard.

I must respectfully disagree.

When I attended UMich (02-06), West Quad was on the Blue menu while South Quad was on the Maize menu.  At South Quad, the Chicken Broccoli Bake was the only entree requiring rice, and the sauce was cooked with the rice.  This resulted in rice that had enough time to properly soak up the greasy goodness.

The Blue Menu on the other hand served the Bake with another entree which required rice.  Therefore, West Quad cooked the Chicken Broccoli Bake sauce separately from the rice.  This resulted in a runnier sauce and the rice did not have time to properly soak it up.  Further, it always seemed less greasy than South Quad's.

Shall we settle the matter with pistols at dawn?

I've looked up the recipe in the past on the U-M dining hall website and basically it was just a recipe for the "topping" with the instruction to "serve over rice."  I had only ever had the South Quad version so I didn't quite get it and was sure that what I'd enjoyed had been more like a casserole than a sauce served over rice.

Thank you for this inside info.
