MUCH HAPPY

Let's beat them in November. They might lose a lot but will probably be a tournament team. Let's get that early win.

05/03/2018 - 1:25pm If...

If the scouts are to be believed and Hurst does have a condition that makes him more likely to die on the field, wouldn't that also mean he could die doing anything strenous like yard work, running on a treadmill or playing basketball with his kids when he is 30?  Can't imagine sitting around and doing nothing for the rest of your life is any life or that is good on the rest of the body. So I'm going to stick with my gut that Hurst, and the doctors got it right.

04/18/2018 - 1:12pm good point

I always understood that you had 5 years to exhaust your eligibilty. Six if you have a significant injury or rare circumstance.

He redshirted in 2013

Played in 2014, 2015, 2016 and off the team in 2017.

They may need to spin this to get him back unless I'm misinterpreting the rule.

04/12/2018 - 12:55pm I'm a noted

I'm a noted Michigan State graduate, lifelong Michigan fan and long-time board member. I'm glad we can discuss these things. This issue is specifically frustrating for me on a number of levels.

First, I attended MSU while the Nasser situation took place. I knew many male and female athletes and they could have just as easily been victims.

Secondly, MSU graduates who know my sports fandom try to tell me I'm looking at this through Maize-colored glasses and that's not right. I don't know why we as humans would have to be biased to be against rape.

Third, the cover up is worse than the crime. With each story it seems like there are more layers of corruption. Items like this latest story, or Engler's appointment as interim president makes me feel like MSU feels as if they are above the line.

Finally, I have a daughter and I have to ask myself do I want her to even go to Michigan State? (Spare me the jokes). Seriously though this issue is beyond MSU. The rape culture that surrounds athletics at many large institutions is a scary thing and I'm admittedly not sure what I can do as a person to change that.

TLDR: I am an MSU grad who is embarrassed and frustrated about the University.

Teske is great.

We have a great core coming back. Can't believe I'm saying this but wish we could just skip over football season all together.

03/14/2018 - 1:27pm Top 5

PG Burke, SG Stauskus, SF Hardaway, PF GR3, C Wagner.

Close with McGary but I don't feel like I know his ceiling with UM because he barely played! I know what I'm getting with Wagner!

01/30/2018 - 8:53am I've been on this site a

I've been on this site a while and have always documented that I am a proud MSU graduate but lifelong Michigan fan. Sue Carter is a widely-respected professor at MSU and is considered to be a great mentor for young journalists. That doesn't mean that she necessarily did everything correctly, but I was not surprised to see her take a stand against the University. I hope they are fair to her. Not sure they will be

01/05/2018 - 3:20pm I need more info

I really want to know what's next with this coaching hire. I wish there was UM like a BIG guy around here who could tell me like ELEVEN tidbits about what is going to happen next.

If only such a character existed.

01/05/2018 - 10:06am Same

What he said.

Let's turn this into a permission error posbang.

12/22/2017 - 9:54am Wait!

The pro league winner plays a college? Hope bad would Devin Gardner be destroying college kids right now? Japanese college kids - who I imagine are not very large!

12/18/2017 - 3:28pm Says he is committed to Missouri

Says he is committed to Missouri, not WV. Also do we want a guy who would be a DB at MIssouri? They let up more points per game than Oakland basketball.

12/15/2017 - 5:14pm How?

How did this post get a downvote? Show yourself Mr. Downvoter! We demand an apology.

12/12/2017 - 2:17pm Don't Worry About It

People can be jerks around here. We should have a better sense of community around this parts since we are all so passionate about the same thing. Unfortunately, sports can bring out the worst in us sometimes. Also, it will help once you have more points. I just upvoted your posts so that may help you get in the right direction.

12/10/2017 - 8:32pm Everybody makes mistakes guys

I just happened to make like three of them in my earlier thread!

12/09/2017 - 7:55pm Dicks

Dick Sturdy

Dicks Turdy

Dicks Dirty

Dexterity!

#seconddeck

12/09/2017 - 4:19pm How many Turnovers did Holiday have?

Story says five, but box says seven.

12/09/2017 - 2:30pm When Raftery said Dexterity

It sounded like "Dicks Dirty"

12/07/2017 - 8:50pm I don't make the rankings

11/20/2017 - 3:47pm Came here to say just this

Read just like a Jim H. Tweet. And if so, great! I'd love a coach who publicly and privately stood up for me. Braylon should be more like coach and less like how he is acting.

11/20/2017 - 2:18pm Yes!

That's it. I get up early in the morning to post in my basement.

11/20/2017 - 2:13pm You're Right

I'm not faulting Harbaugh. And I do think it was the right call to bring him in 2.5 years ago. JOK was the right man for the job until about 5 weeks ago.

11/20/2017 - 12:28pm That's on Coach

That's on Coach Harbaugh. Not JOK. What is JOK supposed to say. "Sorry I'm not playing as well as I want to, take my scholarship"

11/20/2017 - 12:07pm I hope he gets help

Because he could be a mentor to students and players much like Mike Hart who quit the NFL to coach. You will never see Mike Hart say "I'M IN THE RECORD BOOKS". He doesn't need to.

10/22/2017 - 1:21pm There are...

There are rules for posting. Just about all of the threads on here violate the rules because they could go into a post-game thread, or a larger discussion. The mods are generally, very relaxed on this front.

Furthermore, with as many points as you have, you know who the mods are.

10/16/2017 - 3:39pm Competition

Speight also played Florida, a better defense and had Uluzio as his RT.

O'Korn threw most passes against Purdue and Indiana, and had a semblence of a running game.

10/15/2017 - 1:38pm Don't you think

If it were that easy the coaches would have done it.

09/12/2017 - 1:37pm This is cool

This is cool and glad they are supporting the blog called MGO.

09/11/2017 - 2:23pm 4 pm

Is an odd start time.

08/31/2017 - 11:34am Misleading

Can we have a separate board for make believe story land and keep the main board for news?

08/21/2017 - 2:55pm B- offensive line?

B- offensive line?

Maurice Hurst is gonna be rubbin' his belly.

08/17/2017 - 12:44pm Team

This team sounds awful. Martellus Bennet as a keeper? Was Rhett Ellison not available.

08/14/2017 - 12:54pm Dude at the end got leveled

Nothing like getting knocked on your ass by someone not wearing equipment.

08/01/2017 - 4:53pm How Dare He!

How dare he make money off his likeness!

Remember when Johnny Manziel made a ton of money signing autographs even though it was illegal in the eyes of the NCAA? People thought it wouldn't matter because he could make money in the pros! Welp....

Athletes should be able to make money doing whatever the fuck they want as long as it is legal in our country. Fuck the NCAA.

08/01/2017 - 3:12pm Never forget

I seem to have forgotten most of those players except for Demar Dorsey. That offseason was awful though. All of them from about 2006-2014 were. Always tried to pretend there weren't huge glaring errors.

07/21/2017 - 3:52pm I like your speculation

I like your speculation.

07/18/2017 - 12:36pm This may be a non-story

A witness said yesterday that Zeke didn't throw a punch. But he is still a moron for continually putting himself in bad situations. He is likely getting suspended for 1+ games one way or another. Which actually might be okay for a RB which is a position that is likely to see an injury.

07/10/2017 - 12:14pm The web hits must be great

The web hits must be great on these because despite all of us finding this content horrible, they come back every year.

06/16/2017 - 2:47pm I just hope

I just hope for his wife's sake he lasts longer than Pitino.

06/16/2017 - 11:52am Jeff Brohm

Had WKU as the best Group of 5 team? What about Western Michigan and Boise State?

06/15/2017 - 11:23am Spike for MVP

Spike Albrecht gets the MVP now. That's how this works.

06/13/2017 - 1:33pm Shocky Jacques

Name of the year candidate.

Shocky Jacques-Louis

06/12/2017 - 1:37pm Forums

I like the site and I'm sure it will just get better, but I wish the forum view could get better much like sites that are simply forums and not news outlets. Does this make sense?
