I think that we don't stand much of a chance against Florida. They have a stellar defense and our offense is only pedestrian. On the other hand our defense is a little beat up and their running game is pretty good. It may be close but in the end I think we lose.

Against Alabama they barely cracked double digits in yards for quarters. It's a terrible offense, and even if they make slight improvements it won't be a world beater.

And their defense is good, but UM has played similar units and at least held their own.

I don't think you've paid much attention to Florida this year. Their offense is horrible, especially since their starting QB was suspended for PEDs. In fact, it could stand to argue that Florida and Michigan have mirrored each other this year: Stout defense with a so-so offense and two first year coaches squeezing every drop of talent that they have from their rosters.

Teams with horrible QBs have been obliterated this year. Northwestern, BYU, Rutgers, etc. I bet their D will keep us in check but we'll do enough to win

Feels like a good matchup. Florida's offense isn't great, and Harbaugh has shown he can move the ball against good defenses. It should be close, but assuming UM can figure out their defensive line I like their chances.

I'm good with this, we should have a really solid chance of winning, gotta make sure we bring it and finish off the season with a solid bowl win and double digit wins in JH's 1st season, the future looks bright!

The last game before the dark days was against Florida in the Citrus Bowl (called Capital One Bowl then). Could this be the last game of the dark days? Only time will tell.

Have you forgotten The Horror?

Or the following week's utter obliteration - at home - by Oregon?

Or the end of that season's eggs against Wisconsin and OSU?

The Dark Days started in 2006, the day Bo died.  It was downhill rapidly from there.
