I think the best part was blowing by the RT and stripping the overhyped Buckeye QB during Hate Week.

Hutch loves sacking Ohio state quarterbacks!
November 19th, 2023 at 4:23 PM ^
That was some play, saw it live on TV. That could be a good omen for Michigan on Saturday.
November 19th, 2023 at 4:24 PM ^
FUUUUUUUCK OHIO STATE!!!!

Such a great win today. Hutch is a program changer.

Justin Fields is a good example of the excessively good OSU fortune in the 21st century. So good that they clearly couldn't tolerate anything else (like Hutchinson's '21 performance).
November 19th, 2023 at 4:30 PM ^
Who was the last OSU QB that really was a star in the NFL? There has to be one or two but for the life of me I can't think of any.
November 19th, 2023 at 4:32 PM ^
Mike Tomczak, not really a star, but had a long career. CJ Stroud seems off to a good start.
November 19th, 2023 at 5:10 PM ^
Fields played a great game. If he hit that deep ball on third down with three minutes to go, it would have iced it. He was off by inches. He's on a shitty team, though. Not going to succeed in Chicago unless the organization makes big changes.
November 19th, 2023 at 5:24 PM ^
Fields has not been set up for success, that's for sure. I thought he was easily the #2 QB coming out of college after Trevor Lawrence, who was a virtual lock to succeed prospect, and as a Bears fan, was thrilled when he fell to them.
I can't get myself to root against Ohio State players when they turn pro. Some of them are bound to play on my favorite pro team. There's just too many of them that end up in the NFL. I will be a huge Marvin Harrison Jr. fan if he suits up for the Bears. Everyone is allowed to make one mistake in life.
November 19th, 2023 at 6:55 PM ^
Not that mistake.
November 19th, 2023 at 6:09 PM ^
He shouldn’t prematurely dance after running for a first down.
November 19th, 2023 at 7:52 PM ^
I hate to be petty and drop to his level but damn it felt good to have that dancing shoved down his throat. He really looked dejected after the loss. Maybe he will learn to keep the game in front of him. Dude has a lot of talent. Maybe the maturity will come.
November 19th, 2023 at 6:10 PM ^
Can't hate on Stroud whatsoever. He's definitely ROY at this point.
November 19th, 2023 at 8:59 PM ^
Can't forget about Tom Tupa, a former OSU QB that had a long career in the NFL, as a punter.

Stroud threw three interceptions today. Hate to see it :)
November 19th, 2023 at 5:09 PM ^
Goff did too. But he also did enough to win.
November 19th, 2023 at 5:08 PM ^
Great ending. Lions played about 15 minutes of good football dispersed over 4 quarters. That was enough to take home the W.
November 19th, 2023 at 5:15 PM ^
Hutch still eating Buckeyes for lunch. God, that was beautiful.
November 19th, 2023 at 5:19 PM ^
I thought Aidan Hutchinson was only good because of Conor Stalions and sign stealing. Isn't that what the Ohio State and Michigan State fan bases say? Isn't that what Paul Finebaum, Gregg Doyel, Rece Davis, Heather Dinich, Pete Thamel, etc., etc., say? I'm so confused.
November 19th, 2023 at 6:11 PM ^
It is partially true. Aidan is a threat to player safety.
November 19th, 2023 at 5:43 PM ^
I fell asleep and missed this. Dang.
November 19th, 2023 at 6:00 PM ^
I’m viewing it as an omen!
November 19th, 2023 at 6:01 PM ^
I'm still trying to figure out why there wasn't a PI penalty on the Bears' DE that dropped into coverage and bumped LaPorta off his slant route which enabled the first Goff interception.
November 19th, 2023 at 6:44 PM ^
I did wonder the same thing, but it does genuinely look like that defender didn't do it on purpose, so I guess the refs gave them the benefit of the doubt.
Or, the refs were favoring the Bears from beginning to end (a lot of those 3rd down passing penalties on the Lions seemed...iffy?).
November 19th, 2023 at 9:41 PM ^
The rule does not include intent. Plus given that Chicago had 3 drives extended (that lead to 3 scores) because of "illegal contact" aka, hand on the hip, small tug on the jersey, and the TE just running into the defender and making no attempt to move...
Its fine if they call that, just need to be consistent. Can't have 3 ticky tacky calls, each of which were on 3rd downs when the Lions had the Bears stopped, and yet look the the other way when the Safety runs into LaPorta and knocks him off stride leading to an ugle INT...
Sorry for venting, honestly the Bears outplayed the Lions, but the Lions found a way to win in the end. A sign of a quality team...

A foreshadowing of things to come.

All hail to the Jacksonville Jaguars for picking Travon Walker. I don't know how well Walker is doing in the NFL, but he could have 10 sacks this year and I'd still be glad we got Hutch.
November 19th, 2023 at 6:22 PM ^
Does it make you a good football team when you can win with your D game against the opponents A game?

November 19th, 2023 at 7:09 PM ^
Pretty insane that I saw two opponents kick the ball out of the endzone intentionally this weekend. What are the chances?
November 19th, 2023 at 7:22 PM ^
My 5 year old said “dad that’s what the Maryland guy did!” lol
November 19th, 2023 at 9:44 PM ^
Two? You obviously did not watch the Washington v Oregon State game. The ball was snapped over the punter head into the end zone and sure enough, the punter just kicked the ball out of the back of the end zone...
3 times in one week, usually don't see that more than once a season....
November 20th, 2023 at 7:17 AM ^
Is it more rare than 2 safeties in one game?
November 20th, 2023 at 12:58 AM ^
Hutchinson is the first NFL player with 15 sacks and four interceptions in his first two seasons.
November 20th, 2023 at 8:40 PM ^
When Fields did the stupid dance after his run i was hoping to hell the Lions would make him feel like s#!+ by the end. And to have Hutch take the ball and finish the game. what a primer to The Game
