to pull out the improbable comeback for the Lions.

Justin Fields is a good example of the excessively good OSU fortune in the 21st century. So good that they clearly couldn't tolerate anything else (like Hutchinson's '21 performance).

Fields has not been set up for success, that's for sure.  I thought he was easily the #2 QB coming out of college after Trevor Lawrence, who was a virtual lock to succeed prospect, and as a Bears fan, was thrilled when he fell to them.

I can't get myself to root against Ohio State players when they turn pro.  Some of them are bound to play on my favorite pro team.  There's just too many of them that end up in the NFL.  I will be a huge Marvin Harrison Jr. fan if he suits up for the Bears.  Everyone is allowed to make one mistake in life.

I thought Aidan Hutchinson was only good because of Conor Stalions and sign stealing.  Isn't that what the Ohio State and Michigan State fan bases say?  Isn't that what Paul Finebaum, Gregg Doyel, Rece Davis, Heather Dinich, Pete Thamel, etc., etc., say?  I'm so confused.

I'm still trying to figure out why there wasn't a PI penalty on the Bears' DE that dropped into coverage and bumped LaPorta off his slant route which enabled the first Goff interception.

The rule does not include intent.  Plus given that Chicago had 3 drives extended (that lead to 3  scores) because of "illegal contact" aka, hand on the hip, small tug on the jersey, and the TE just running into the defender and making no attempt to move...

Its fine if they call that, just need to be consistent.  Can't have 3 ticky tacky calls, each of which were on 3rd downs when the Lions had the Bears stopped, and yet look the the other way when the Safety runs into LaPorta and knocks him off stride leading to an ugle INT...

Sorry for venting, honestly the Bears outplayed the Lions, but the Lions found a way to win in the end.  A sign of a quality team...

All hail to the Jacksonville Jaguars for picking Travon Walker.  I don't know how well Walker is doing in the NFL, but he could have 10 sacks this year and I'd still be glad we got Hutch.

Pretty insane that I saw two opponents kick the ball out of the endzone intentionally this weekend. What are the chances?

Two?  You obviously did not watch the Washington v Oregon State game.  The ball was snapped over the punter head into the end zone and sure enough, the punter just kicked the ball out of the back of the end zone...

3 times in one week, usually don't see that more than once a season....

When Fields did the stupid dance after his run i was hoping to hell the Lions would make him feel like s#!+ by the end.  And to have Hutch take the ball and finish the game.  what a primer to The Game
