TomVH: Justice Hayes Announcing July 30th
IrishSportsDaily.com tweeted that Justice Hayes will be deciding his college choice on July 30th. Justice confirmed that it was "looking that way" to me via text.
The finalists are Notre Dame, Michigan, MSU, Tennessee, Northwestern, and Iowa, per ISD.
what are our chances?
You mean not good like one in a hundred?
...
(You know the rest, though I think it's not that bad)
what do you think our chances are with him.
do you think that if justice hayes commits to michigan. would it hurt our chances with Dee Hart?
I don't think it would hurt our chances with Dee, they'd be used differently.
I'm not sure of our chances, it's tough. If I had to guess, I would say he's not going to pick Michigan. He's another kid, like DeAnthony, if the situation was different he probably already chosen Michigan. I don't think he'll pick Michigan, but I've seen stranger things happen.
Who knows what happened on the most recent visit he took. Fred Jackson might have said some things to him to make him feel more comfortable. Originally he wasn't going to announce until after the season, and has now moved it up, so I'm a little confused here.
I have just one last stop before I send you on your way...
mmmmmmmmmm, ugh, I just drooled on myself
When you made that comment
As much as I hate for us to lose out on good in-state talent, I'm perfectly okay with Hayes going to ND. Just lockup Hart and everything will be fine.
I tend to agree with this statement. I like Hayes, but I'm not sure he'd be comfortable coming in the same class as Hart. If we're missing out on him, I'd rather the domers get him than Michigan State.
Even though they're both rivals, there's ben stiller and then there is simple jack...
Hopefully he will see the potential for great success in Ann Arbor.
We have to lockup Dee Hart. Hayes is just a bonus IMHO. We really need a dominate runner.
...that a consensus 4* running back should never be referred to as "just a bonus." I know that D. Hart is a great prospect, but it would be awesome to have both of them especially in an offense that often uses 2 RB's at once and at a position where injuries are frequent. Also, the level of infatuation that people seem to have with D. Hart is, quite honestly, a little weird.
Well yeah it would be awesome to get all 5 star recruits but we all know that is not realistic. I would be thrilled to have both but chance are we won't get both. I would much rather have Hart. I wouldn't be mad if we only got Hayes but Hart is option number one.
We could use a dominant runner even more.
No, we need a tremendous runner, says Mr. Carr.
If I had to pick one it would be Hart. But it's beneficial to get the top in-staters.
Said on the radio last week that he thought his final 2 were ND and Michigan. With ND leading. It would be good if RR could get him on campus one more time before the end of the month.
When he last visited I believe RR was on vacation.
I wouldnt sleep on Northwestern. If I was a betting man, of course.
in a Scout interview with Mr. Webb, he ruled out Northwestern due to the fact that he doesn't see them as a top level program.
Thanks for the update TomVH. Let's hope he sees the progress RichRod is making and understands that the future looks bright.
Go Blue!
and Justice for Blue.
because I was looking forward to delivering some Justice to our opponents!
he is not going to M. I expect he'll end up at ND. Sounds like he is a good talent, but definitely one that is plan B after Hart.

I have a feeling he is Irish, oh well I would rather have Hart, and maybe a shot at The Black Mamba....
.... or for that matter in A2, if he picks either MSU or Notre Dame.
it's because justice is blind.
He visted last week you ought to believe Fred Jackson smooth things over with him.And on rivals he told them that he was pushing his timeframe forward.Just me but i think he's BLUE
Notre Dame's colors are blue and gold. I know when you ALL CAPS BLUE like that, you mean Michigan. I'm just saying.
That being said, I hope you are right.
free article from mlive.com, doesn't exactly make me feel solid about ND though.

Good find Irish. Interesting tidbit from the article:
But Hayes still plans to visit two of the four closest schools — Northwestern, Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame — before his press conference to make sure he's making the right choice.
Let's hope we're one of the final two.
