Well, at least this means

Well, at least this means that we knew there was a possibility of the Hamilton decommit for roughly a week and the staff is scrambling to find an appropriate second option. I just worry that pickings are slim. Nonetheless, in Harbaugh I trust.

Am I the only one worried

Am I the only one worried that our spartan and buckeye "friends" will try to paint Bo? If I had to see that, I think I would be sick.

If he does well enough, they If he does well enough, they might try to convince him to be a head coach in waiting. Not that it worked well for Texas when they tried it, but it worked out ok for FSU. Brady is 55, so he might not want to coach forever. Although I am sure he would want to stay around the program like Bo and Lloyd.
I hate both Clmeson and OSU.

I hate both Clmeson and OSU. Therefore, I will be rooting for a meteor to hit the stadium.

While we are at it, take Funk

While we are at it, take Funk too. Our o-line could use someone new...

I have a feeeling they may

I have a feeeling they may try to get Malzone as a preferred walk on candidate. Rivals has his only offers as Bowling Green, Toledo, Western Michigan, and Old Dominion. It sort of fits with what they did with Brian Cleary from U of D last year.

I believe he attended

I believe he attended Alabama's camp. As best as I can find, he did not get an offer (doesn't mean one isn't on its way I suppose).

Cosigned!

As you said, the D only let up 23 points. Not to mention that one of those touchdowns they let up was a super lucky bounce off the RB's hands 5 yards directly into a receiver's hands behind him.

Did ND have some drives? sure, but all teams will have some drives. However, they put us in a position to win, and that is all that matters. A far cry from the GRob era thankfully.

Picture proof can be found

Picture proof can be found here that Hand was there and appears happy.

Huzzah

Honestly, i'm surprised it

Honestly, i'm surprised it isn't a bit higher.

I'm not saying he should have gotten the same money as Izzo, Crean, or Matta, but with the amazing job he has done with our program, i figured at least in the 3 mil range. Still, heck of a job Beiliein. I will echo that he is worth every penny!

Didn't our longtime track

Didn't our longtime track coach just retire? Are our track facilities really that far behind those southern schools?  If yes, any chance we upgrade our track program soon?

With Brandon's recent talks about "unlimited" budgets for achieving championships, I'm guessing/hoping he wants to win championships in every sport.

Ugh, just looked to buy

Ugh, just looked to buy tickets and they are sold out. Would have really liked to have gone to Friday's game.

Would Green and Fournette be

Would Green and Fournette be complimentary backs?

Oh and Borges does have expereince running an offense with two star running backs (as he had Cadilac Williams and Ronnie Brown back in the Auburn days).

Lets not discount Peppers

Lets not discount Peppers recruiting ability just yet (although we could say the jury is out on it), as he said he is going after Malik McDowell and Da'Shawn Hand for us. Plus, who knows who else he might put in a call to.

Any chance we offer Campbell

Any chance we offer Campbell at a different position? Or is he a QB only sort of prospect?

I haven't bought one in

I haven't bought one in awhile, but I will be buying this one as soon as it hits the shelves!

This is why we can't have

This is why we can't have nice things

I think you have to establish

I think you have to establish a culture where kids know even if they are not "the guy," they will still get playing time through being rotated in. I would guess Hoke is going to attempt to do what he did with the dline and have guys rotate in and out on the oline. Therefore keeping people fresh. We really couldn't afford to do that much last year thanks to depth issues, but in the future, I could see that happen.

Reclassified???

Kids can reclassify?  Any reason why this guy did that? I vaguely recall some kids intentionally get held back so they will be the biggest ones on the teams etc..., but why would a kid rush ahead?

Excellent news! We could use

Excellent news! We could use a big time playmaker at WR

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't attempting to imply they were slam dunks, just possibilities. A lot of people seem to take x recruit committing elsewhere as a sky is falling scenario, when really, there are plenty of recruits out there, some who are even more skilled. For all the negative news, I like to focus on positives.

Cosigned!We are in on some

Cosigned!

We are in on some pretty big names including guys like Da'Shawn Hand and Jabrill Peppers. Not to mention Malik McDowell. While losing guys like Webb and Harris is not exactly fun, the coaching staff seems to be doing an excellent job of getting in on some very talented big name targets.

Ugh

Someone keep Meyer out of our State

Interesting note: scout lists

Interesting note: scout lists appears to like him as a punting prospect as well

Also

He appears to have his own youtube channel

Don't worry guys, he grew out

Don't worry guys, he grew out the first one fairly quick. I am sure he can have another one ready come football season in the fall

I would guess they might ask

I would guess they might ask someone to greyshirt, or they are expecting greater attrition

I think it may have been

I think it may have been pre-rankings, but our 1998 class has to be up there (saying they would have all stayed)

We had Henson, Fargas, Terrell, Walker, Foote, Hobson, Joppru, June, Howard, and Epstein all in one class.

Oddly enough, the Michigan

Oddly enough, the Michigan commits that they rank as four star players are the ones that have video links next to them. To me it sounds reasonable that once they have video on our three star guys, they might see a bump in rankings.

I have a feeling that a lot

I have a feeling that a lot of people's thoughts on the video will strongly correlate with if they went to CC or not.

Does it matter who initiated

Does it matter who initiated the contact and if they had a prior relationship? I mean Roundtree and McCray both went to the same school, so it is at least possible they knew each other.

Two can play this game my

Two can play this game my friend.

OSU should be worried about McCray getting in Cam's ear. The allure of potential early playing time, playing with his friend, and Hoke, Mattison, and McCray all being in his ear may be too much.

Realistic? Probably not, but the coin certainly has two sides.

It isn't totally out of the

It isn't totally out of the realm

There are mutilple NFL Draft eligible centers between 6'3 and 6'5

Peter Konz - C - Wisconsin - 6'5

Michael Brewster - C - Ohio - 6'4

Ben Jones - C - Georgia - 6'3

Bob Herbert - C - LSU - 6'3

David Snow - C - Texas - 6'4

Grant Garner - C - Oklahoma State - 6'3

Ben Burkett - C - Northwestern - 6'4

Google to the rescue - Matt

Google to the rescue - Matt Trannon and Dion Sims both did that for the sparties. Now to delete my internet history...

Isn't Kozan a genuine center

Isn't Kozan a genuine center prospect whlie the guys that we just picked up as well as the guys we have offered are not center prospects? We could certainly use a good center. I mean look at what Molk has done for us.

Sounds like we are building a

Sounds like we are building a OL that may look like a more agile Wisconsin line. Which to me just sounds fantastic!

In a perfect world you get

In a perfect world you get all three - pass catching, height, and speed. However, seeing as those type of wideouts don't exactly grow on trees, I would rather have ones that can actually catch things than just threaten to catch things behind the D but flub it somehow.

I know they aren't pure receivers, but rumor has it Norfleet and Drake Johnson both have quite a bit of speed to them.

Someone get Shane Morris in

Someone get Shane Morris in touch with this kid.

If you would have told me our

If you would have told me our defense would have finished statistically higher than our offense at the start of the season, I would have likely called you crazy. Fantastic job done by the coaching staff and players turning the ship around.

I hate bringing it up but....

I hate bringing it up but.... any chance if one or more of these O-line kids commit we have someone else currently commited start looking around?  The proverbial pool is getting somewhat crowded.

CC plays the vast majority of

CC plays the vast majority of their games on Saturday. So, if he has been playing football guess he would be busy most Saturdays since he got into high school.

At CC a trick play is a pass.

At CC a trick play is a pass. Or at least it was back in my day.
