05/07/2018 - 3:55pm Juwan Howard

I'd like to see Juwan Howard get a shot at a head coaching job. Detroit would be a great place to get it started.

04/26/2018 - 10:37am In no particular order

In no particular order, I'd like to see them take a RB, DL, and OL in the first 3 rounds. I'd be fine with Guice at pick 20, but I do feel that this is a particularly deep RB class, so I wouldn't mind if they wait until the 2nd or 3rd for an RB and target someone like Ronald Jones, Rashad Penny, Sony Michel, Nick Chubb, or Kalen Ballage.

01/01/2018 - 4:57pm Things that need to happen to restore confidence in Harbaugh

This offseason:  Fire Tim Drevno and Pep Hamilton

Next season: Win the BIG East, Win the BIG outright, or playoff appearance.

Anything short of that, he unfortunately needs to go. He's not being paid to blow games against teams like South Carolina or to go 1-5 against OSU and MSU.

10/25/2017 - 11:10am Wow

Wow, so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what you and your wife are going through right now. Take your time for your family and grieve however you see fit. Hopefully someday when the world seems brighter you'll feel like coming back.

10/23/2017 - 10:41am Harbaugh is a good coach but he has flaws

Harbaugh is a good coach, but he has his flaws. He's arrogant to a fault, stubbornly insisting on doing things his way, even when the evidence on the field suggests otherwise. The halftime adjustments agains MSU and PSU were abyssmal. Also, where are slant routes and other quick routes? All the passing routes seem to take forever to develop, and the OL isn't capable of blocking well enough for that kind of passing game at this point.

Another thing that bothers me, is with all of the athletes and quickness this team has on offense, the insistence on running a pro style doesn't end up using these advantages much. Insert a bit of spread in there. Did you see how dynamic PSU's offense was? That's what we're capable of if we diversify.

I think at the end of the year, Drevno and Hamilton are going to have to go away for this team to build on the potential we have.

10/22/2017 - 6:36am We should be preparing for next year at this point

We should be preparing for next year at this point and that means playing Peters. We're likely to get blown out by Ohio St. and Wisconsin regardless of who is behind center, and O'Korn is gone after the season anyway. I can't imagine Peters being any worse that O'Korn if his talent actually measures up to his recruiting profile. Let the kid start the rest of the season so that he actually does have some experience heading into next year.

07/25/2017 - 4:27pm Good catch!

I obviously was not part of the consideration for this study lol.

06/20/2017 - 1:48pm As much as I enjoy

As much as I enjoy both Two Hearted and Hopslam, where the fuck is Oberon on this list? As far as I'm concerned it's the best Bell's beer by a mile.

06/02/2017 - 11:59am Morrissey

Morrissey's solo music is better than the Smiths'.

04/04/2017 - 3:36pm I guess

Time for Lucille to bash some skulls?

01/04/2017 - 10:43am I have to choose?

I have to choose? ;)

01/04/2017 - 8:25am What would be more interesting

What would be more interesting would be to find out the destination of his plane tickets since he's flying to either Alabama or Michigan immediately after the All-American Bowl, per 247.

10/01/2016 - 12:08pm I'll be watching from home

I'll be watching from home, but I'll be drinking one of the best,  Bell's Amber Ale!

Michigan 35-17

09/09/2016 - 10:52am Great write-up, Jamie

Great write-up, Jamie

I just wish you hadn't used my pet peeve grammatical error "peaking my interest" in the Iowa St. section. It's ALWAYS "Piquing"!

07/08/2016 - 11:04am Yes

Definitely one of the best shows ever on television!

11/25/2015 - 3:54pm I know it would be a HC job,

I know it would be a HC job,  but I think he could do better.

11/19/2015 - 8:56am I was surprised by that as

I was surprised by that as well.

10/18/2015 - 10:37am Forsett

Forsett, but I don't envy your options.

10/08/2015 - 2:12pm Michigan

Michigan wins 20-16

10/06/2015 - 10:54am Too soon

But a very nice prediction! Hopefully this comes to pass!

10/04/2015 - 3:28pm Same

Hoping we can run the table and and get into the playoffs of course, but I'd certainly take this outcome as well!

10/01/2015 - 3:34pm Michigan

Michigan 34-16

05/13/2015 - 5:10am A few interesting suggestions

Brain on Fire - Susannah Cahalan

Open - Andre Agassi

The Tender Bar - J.R. Moehringer

05/05/2015 - 8:21pm Seriously

Seriously, a taco thread and not a single mention of Tacopants?

02/12/2015 - 9:54pm Also

Also willing to bet that Durkin doesn't pen and sing misogynistic lyrics like Eminem does either.

02/09/2015 - 2:49pm I won't be surprised

I won't be surprised if we can win 8 or even 9 games, but 10 seems like a stretch. If anyone can do it, Harbaugh can. But I won't be disappointed if we win 8 with an eye on truly challenging for the BIG title in 2016, either.

02/08/2015 - 5:49am This is an incredibly stupid idea

There is nothing wrong at all with the 35 second shot clock. It actually makes the game more interesting, in my opinion. Plus, the NBA is virtually unwatchable, and anything that moves college basketball closer to that is a bad thing. Leave college basketball alone!!

12/20/2014 - 2:02pm FUCK NO

FUCK NO

12/20/2014 - 7:55am All my ND and Sparty

All my ND and Sparty friends try to brush it off by saying shit like "I hope he comes, he's a jackass."

11/15/2014 - 12:53pm I can't believe it hasn't been mentioned yet

I can't believe it hasn't been mentioned yet. You all are missing out if you haven't tried Cheboygan Brewing Company's Lighthouse Amber Ale. I love almost all of Bell's beers, but I'd choose this one over any of them.

09/27/2014 - 6:56pm Same here

I already emailed President Schlissel about this. Here is his email, for those who want to join me in doing so.  [email protected]

09/24/2014 - 6:34pm Michigan 21-7

Michigan 21-7

09/06/2014 - 9:20am Negged

For piquing my interest, only to find out it was "Family Guy" crap.

09/05/2014 - 6:00am Great story

A nice happy ending, just like your mom's cancer struggles will have. Thanks for sharing!

08/07/2014 - 6:04am While I think

While I think that both Jenkins-Stone and Charlton will get a good share of playing time, I just have doubts about Ross and Beyer not being the starters, at least for the first few games.

08/01/2014 - 11:13am Another thing

At least Flood isn't a world class dick like Schiano is.

07/09/2014 - 9:53pm Supporting local

Drinking Bell's Oberon tonight. Great summer beer.

06/14/2014 - 11:46am I did!

I did!  I'm buying all the 5-star talent my money can buy.  Should be a good few years to be a Michigan fan, until the shit hits the fan!

06/11/2014 - 6:24am You

You just haven't earned it yet, baby.

05/15/2014 - 8:21pm Is it wrong of me

Is it wrong of me to want to put book spoilers in this thread specifically since the OP asked not to?

05/09/2014 - 2:07pm I don't love the pick

But I don't hate it, either.  Lombardi's offense in New Orleans used a lot of 2 TE sets, and now hopefully Pettigrew can focus more on blocking, since he is actually good there.  I still wish they had traded down and gone defense, though.

05/08/2014 - 7:37pm Lions

The Lions have a need at almost every single position on the defensive side of the ball.  They already announced that they are unlikely to re-sign both Suh and Fairley at DT, so someone there could be used for depth this season and then to start next season.  At DE, Ansah is a beast, and Taylor is promising, but they lost Willie Young and need depth.  Two of the three LB spots are set with Levy and Tulloch, but Palmer is marginal as a starter.  At CB, they have used several picks in the last few years, and have a mediocre pass defense despite the talent on the DL.  I think they take at least one CB in the first 3-4 rounds, and it wouldn't surprise me to see them take Dennard or Gilbert in the 1st Rd.  As far as S goes, yes, Quin is very good, and they just brought Ihedigbo in, but most people view Ihedigbo as a stopgap, and it wouldn't surprise me if they use a pick on a safety.

I'll agree with you that on the offensive side of the ball, WR is the biggest need.  I just don't think it makes sense to trade up though.  I think it is more likely that the Lions move up from their 2nd round pick back into the end of the 1st round, to take a reciever that they like there.

05/08/2014 - 6:47pm I'm gonna be so pissed

I'm gonna be so pissed if the Lions trade up to the 3rd pick with all the needs they have.  Mortgaging a good chunk of this year's draft, and likely next year's first round pick doesn't seem worth it.

05/08/2014 - 9:21am As long as the Lions

As long as the Lions don't trade up early, I'll be happy.  There will be somebody that can help them at the #10 pick.  Now if they want to trade back into the later part of the first round if somebody they want falls, I'm okay with that.

My prediciton for the Lions at #10 is OLB Anthony Barr from UCLA.  I think Atlanta trades up to take Clowney #1, since they seem completely in love with him.  I think Manzeil goes either #7 to the Bucs or #8 to the Vikings.  And I'm thinking Lewan goes to the Bills at #9.

05/02/2014 - 11:58am Please, Please, Please

Just get rid of Phil Coke now.

04/15/2014 - 3:38pm That was then

This is now.  Those past changes were necessary.  The changes proposed this year are not.

04/15/2014 - 1:04pm NONE OF THE ABOVE, PLEASE

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.  College basketball is perfectly fine as is.  Anything that moves it in the direction of the NBA is screwing it up in my opinion.

04/08/2014 - 7:10am Of course it matters

Of course it matters.  At least it means he won't be screwing it up even more.
