Official: Shea Patterson eligible for 2018
https://mgoblue.com/news/2018/4/27/football-joint-statement-from-michig…
Following notification of this change, the University of Mississippi promptly reached out to the University of Michigan to discuss how these new standards could impact the University of Mississippi's support of a transfer student-athlete's desire to compete immediately at the University of Michigan. The University of Mississippi and the University of Michigan have worked together over the last several days in conjunction with the NCAA national office staff, and with a focus on the best interest of the student-athlete, to put forward a new waiver application. That new application was submitted this week by the University of Michigan and supported by both schools. The University of Michigan has withdrawn its previous waiver application and all associated materials in favor of this new, cooperative approach based on facts which all parties agree to. The waiver has now been approved by the NCAA and thus football student-athlete Shea Patterson will be eligible to compete in the 2018-19 academic year.
They could've revised that agreement six ways to Sunday as long it ends with Patterson being eligible.
"behavior at the SEC peer institution standard."
has sabotaged the last three years, not just last year. inconsistent and or mediocre qb play will keep you from ever going from good to great. it covers up alot of weaknesses.

QB play has been an issue since Chad Henne graduated, honestly. That's just ridiculous.. especially at Michigan. I know what you mean tho, during the Harbaugh era having a great QB could have lead to something special. The Rodriguez and Hoke years we still had a lot of other issues besides QB.
Agreed. Sounds like SP will be a good leader for the offense.
and off we go...
Man, I’m just happy he’s playing for us this year. Tear it up Shea. Become a Michigan man and legend
" I'm not sure we want Shea anyway" on Nov. 27th in the Shea to A2 rumor thread.
internet detective, and a good one.
Beautiful news !!!!
Having a QB with quality game exp,is going to be huge, with that first road game at Notre Dame .
The hoops and hockey losses were on weekdays. I hope we can continue this trend for the rest of the year.
...and that Monday will fall in a NEW YEAR WOOHOO!
And I really hate it's on cable. The NFL should play their Wild-Card games at 1PM/4PM on Saturday, and the CFP title game could be at 8PM. I guess that would be much of a good thing.
Harbaugh,
I know that there is a submarine and all, but could us fans have some video of Patterson making plays in the spring practices to tide us over until Fall?
I refuse to watch any practice highlights or hype videos because it will cause me to lose sleep, ignore my wife and five kids, and play NCAA 14 nonstop until we tee it up in South Bend.
There will be an article today or tomorrow that will speculate that it's title or bust for Harbaugh because he'll have the best roster on campus in over a decade, maybe two decades. I will refuse to read this article because it will be pure speculation, yet probably true.
Engine is starting up. Go Blue!
