Insane. Truly looks like Noah came to Michigan to play school! Good for him!

Furbush, in addition to being smart, must have an amazing ability to utilize time. As someone who got a Chem Eng. degree quite some time ago, I can't imagine playing college football at a major program and studying engineering at the same time.

As an engineering alum, it boggles my mind how guys can be Division 1 athletes and still graduate from the engineering school (or any other difficult major at the university). I felt like I was floundering sometimes and I didn't have the football program to handle on top of that. Crazy impressive
" I think non athletes can have similar ethic."
Nobody suggested otherwise..
On his senior night they said this heavyweight wrestler is graduating with a 4.0 in Aerospace Engineering. Amazing and congrats to both of them.
Surprised it took that long. Blog be slippin'.
I wear this shirt whenever I get an opportunity even now, except at work, of course. It might draw unwanted attention in a meeting.
In all seriousness though, awesome for Furbush. Another example of The Michigan Difference.
Awesome...
Isn't Winovich also majoring in aerospace engineering, or something like that?
had he been here along with the Space Emperor of Space?
There are a lot of cynics who say stuff like "athletes aren't there for an education" and "the whole thing needs to be blown up - the concept of student-athlete is dead", and most frustrating to me "all these schools are the same - they don't care about the kids, just about the money".
I'm so glad that our school, our coaches, and our administration still believe in and foster the concept of the student-athlete.
I'm so glad there are still schools - especially OUR school - that emphasize and provide academics and a true university experience for athletes in addition to sports.
I'm so glad there are still kids like Noah (and Moe, and on and on) who represent our school so magnificently.
Embodiment of "student-athlete". Congratulations Noah - Plant the "M" flag on Mars!

Extreme respect for the man, I did one of the two which was not football. Long distance between south campus and north campus and I doubt the parking situation is much better than it was many moons ago when it was largely open field.
Furbush also seemed to be another cog in D Brown's mastery of deception, as I recall he is primarily a guy who stands up at LB but is basically assigned to fill the 4th DL spot a second before the snap to try to mess up the OL.
