Ole Miss formally opposes Shea's transfer:
you're pretty daring. You're either kicking off a great commenting career here, or you're kicking off a whole bunch of crap to come your way.
Mark this as another FH/Julian account. This type of comment fits the established format.
Pretty daring to make a guess? It's 50/50, yes or no. He might guess right but it sure as hell isn't because he has some kind of knowledge that not even the NCAA has. He's a troll, has been a troll and will always be a troll. And I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you're one of mineral kings several accounts.
Is it really that hard to understand that the NCAA has not made a decsion yet which means no one knows for sure. Holy shit people.
I'm not Mineral King.
It's shit like this that makes the internet such an awful place. Go away.
UM doesn't know, Harbaugh doesn't know, UMBig11 doesn't know, the NCAA doesn't know, but....
Mineral King aka Franklin Hatchett knows.
50/50 that you're right so you're really going out on a limb.
You're such a dbag.
The NCAA constantly tries to use Michigan as an example to maintain the illusion that it has any semblence of control over the big institutions it governs. They don't dare mess with the Bamas or Dukes of the world, but then they routinely go on these farcical power trips against Michigan.
All the other big schools don't take the NCAA's bullshit, and Michigan shouldn't either. Fuck the NCAA. If I were Harbaugh and the NCAA rules against Michigan, I would trot Shea Patterson out there for the Notre Dame game anyway in an act of ultimate defiance. Make some headlines, point out that Hugh Freeze was hiring prostitutes and quite obviously lying to recruits about how deep a pile of shit he was in. Wtf is the NCAA going to do to stop us?
"What's your deal' NCAA
Mike Onewu gets to Emmert first and pancakes him.
Is this about being spiteful? Or something else?
Could simply allowing the immediate transfer be construed as some sort of admission of guilt?
Or is this about the other transfers, some of which are closer to home, or sharing the same recruiting turf? And what did this mean: "The appeals of Patterson's five former teammates are not related to that of the quarterback."
There is a chance Shae took part in the alleged impermissible benefits. Either way, it is a lot easier to run a scam/skirt rules when there are no protections against those who alert governing bodies.
Somebody forgot to take his Zoloft yesterday...
The world really is upside freaking down.

The Director of Football Operations was caught paying players that were already enrolled. The bagmen were not caught paying players that have not yet enrolled...
law sweet?
Sounds pretty suit
That would soot me well.
Dos funny.
If that's your take, their easiest option in still being effective, is to grant eligiblity.
Like any legal battle they need to get both sides of the story. If they only listened to Michigan it would be a pretty easy case.
If Shea is eligible?
This is why Speight is coming back.
Too much of a coincidence this happens after talk about Speight in the last few days.
I haven't seen a report on the basis of Ole Miss' opposition. Interesting no reporter got anyone to leak about it.

Will make a decision sometime this summer. Either all the ole MS transfers will be eligible to play this fall or none of them. I'm betting the NCAA will not penalize the players. I expect to see Shea competing for the starting QB role during summer camp and if he wins, I bet he will be playing against ND.
