FUCK OFF REFS

The football team needs to watch these games to learn how to play against the refs.

The refs were bad.  It doesn't matter if they were equally bad.  Bad reffing generally hurts the better team more.  I thought they were calling anticipation fouls in favor or Gray.  

 

On the other hand, it has got to be a bit of a fright to have to keep up with youngsters on the big stage. I suppose if you were a referee all season you should be ready but it looks like a tough job.

Some phantom fouls if I've ever seen any. Tick. Y. Tack.

We still need to play better but the refs were still a joke. They go to the monitor to look at plays that were obvious in real time. Wagner gets called for some of the most bizarre things, even Nessler was at a loss for two of them.

When the fouls got to 8 to 3 or 4 in the second half, I was ready to throw my remote through the wall. Doesn't really matter if they even out in the end at that point; timing matters.

Lopsidedly bad. The make-up call in the first half after Mo's second was hilarious and didn't make up for it at all. Just tons of crap like that. We really were fighting an uphill battle.

college basketball refs suck.  And, as someone pointed out yesterday, in the tournament they slop crews together from all over, so you get a crew that sucks in a lot of different, inconsistent ways.  Not great, Bob.

Be happy tonight, and let's hope that we can get someone going from long-distance.  Guys have gutted out a couple of wins by playing great D and going to the hole.  Not gonna work against UNC -- we will need to draw them out.

We started 0-10 vs Montana, had 1 point at the TV timeout today, OSU started out 0-15 today, the great MSU and Tom Izzo barely beat Bucknell by 4 points. Seriously, he fucked his league for his Madison Square Garden wet dream. He should be fired for gross incompetence.

Man, it would be nice if we could go 16-20 from the charity stripe. That kid who missed the last two was the same who made his first nine, yeah?

ref tonight were a MOTHER FUCKING ABOMINATION. There is no other way for me to put it.

Hopefully in Sweet 16 we get an upgrade on both refs and TV announcers because we got dregs in these first two rounds.

But I cannot believe how bad the refs were in the last 2-3 minutes. Michigan was hosed 3 times in the last minute alone. Very disappointing!!! But I'm glad we stayed focused and pulled it out. We played very sloppy and should be happy we won.

one the one hand, guys triving to the hoop just trying to get a call (manbun) didn't get the whistle, which I prefer.

on the other, the tickey tack off the ball stuff is fucked up. the wagner foul was shit and 2 of the DRob fouls were not there.

Ok but also fuck Michigan’s tendency towards mediocrity offensively. And let’s be honest. Rob Gray missed five or six shots he regularly hits and it ain’t entirely due to Michigan defense

To the chin is getting a lot of attention but how about Devin Davis going to the line in the last minute after falling down all on his own while rebounding. That was the worst call of all due to the timing. I am not sure the refs favored one team over the other. I just think the refs were completely incompetent. Which is so fucking unacceptable at this stage in the season. No one can convice me there is a worse group of professional officials than those in college basketball. Revolting to watch even in victory.
