Ron Prince hired as Analyst, per 247
Per 247, Harbaugh has hired former Kansas State head coach and Lions O-Line coach as their new analyst.
He wasn't really good in either positions, but it's just an analyst position, right.....

Can we please get Bob Stitt??
He is an analyst at OK State right now. Scoop him up!
So make it his weekly duty to tailor for the upcoming opponent, 2-3 philosophically-different (out of left field), never-before-seen plays. At coach's disposal for those situations when they MUST pick up X yards. And/or, let him get creative within Harbaugh's philosophy, which could use some fresh takes - craft a new, hybrid philosophy.
Right! That's why Greg Frey did so well!
What's that exactly? Scoring?
I seem to remember giving up on them when they started being shut down every time they were run, 13 is on the field? Jet sweep.
Sounds like a perfect time to run a fake.
or even Warde Manuel will grow a pair and start asking what the hell is going on down there.
He will be wondering why his body is growing two additional testicles "down there"?
double balls, double post
Do you want Harbaugh fired?
If yes then who do you want to replace him?
...don't ask him that question.
Ok...
it really added to the conversation.
...we're going to get into analyzing analyst hires now?
Got anything better to do til football starts?
Watch Michigan play basketball, hockey and softball?
Had Michigan lost earlier in the B1G tourney, I would have a lot more nervousness watching this weekend as it would have had a really big impact on Michigan's seeding.
Since they won, I'm pretty sure Michigan is locked in to at least a 3 regardless of what other teams do. Nice piece of mind.
I believe we were a four when we went to the Finals.
...but i don't think that's the point.
i submit that none of us really have the slightest idea of what an actual analyst does, let alone whether ron prince is qualified to be one. but there are guaranteed to be some change-your-diapers-type hot takes on the subject.
It's like they always say, the more cooks in the kitchen, the better the puddin'!
It's not the right Putin account. Doesn't count.
He was, however, the special teams coach at Virginia (also the OL coach and OC in another earlier stint at Virginia), and more notably for the local crowd here, the assistant head coach and tight ends (later OL coach) for the Detroit Lions as well. Not sure what you can glean from the latter, the Lions having issues which sometimes mask issues, but there it is.
He was OC for a while, and was not very good at it.
Hopefully he's Fresh and brings Jazzy Jeff with him
I do not know anything about the man so welcome aboard, have fun with all the spreadsheets and such.
