Hello: Trente Jones

4-star OT Trente Jones from Grayson High School has committed to Michigan.

 

He's currently the 332nd overall prospect in the 247 composite, but that feels low to me. He's an Under Armour All-American game invitee, and plays in a strong division in Georgia. Some think he's better than top 100 teammate OL Wanya Morris. At 6'6 282, he moves well for his size but still has a frame to add good weight. It's a really good pick up at a position of need.

Partridge is one of the coaches that have Georgia as part of the region. My understanding is the regional guys are now starting contact and the position coach start their relationship a bit latter. However, if the is from Georgia, Partridge or Moore (I believe) will be listed as primary.

LOL so we had to put Partridge in charge of OT recruiting?!? Please don’t let him leave ever. If you can’t pay to get players, paying to keep him around is the next closest thing.

The 2019 OL class could be quite impressive! Many big time targets on the board and don't give up on Dobbs just yet, the staff is pushing hard for him all of a sudden. If we have an impressive season I think the 2019 class will be Harbaugh's best. This class has a great shot at 3-4 5-star prospects!
