Helluva a coach, and done a far better job at developing QB's at Michigan State than Harbaugh has at Michigan

Although I dislike him, you’re right, MD is a very good coach. However, I think your comparison is inappropriate. To make it an apt comparison one would have to compare the QB depth charts of MSU and Michigan when MD and JH took over. Comparing them today, after 11 years and 3 years, is ridiculousness. The first QB JH recruited is a RS Fr. set to make his 4th start.

...3-9, or is it 9-3 combined with 3-9? That's 12-12 (assume 13-12 after beating a Wazzou missing QB1, WR1, WR2 and LB1) over last two years while JH went 18-7 over two with youngest team this year and "questionable" calls that ALL went against UM in a "down year." UM will be OK. Dantonio is a very good coach who thrived during UM's RichRod and Hoke years...those are over... monsoons and Aussie punters won't help you... nor the Detroit College of Law (errr, MSU "Law" School)...you have a good dog and cat school though! So, party, Sparty! How 'bout your fans show up for the games so you don't keep giving away hundred / thousands of tix to home games...as usual...

That was cool how you summed up all the lame ass excuses for Michigan's lack of recent success in one post: officiating conspiracy, weather, Coaches that were here 8 years ago. Everyone else cheats but not Michigan.

I like your posts but help me understand here. Sparty has a shitty offense is it wasn't for their their QB being able to throw receivers open? Is he a shitty QB if he wasn't able to manipulate defenses? Are their WR crew pedestrian if their QB can't find ways to throw to them ? You sound like a jealous ex girlfriend. "He only likes her because she has huge tits and a small waist. Look at those awful ears!"

It's frustrating to watch that offense built with scraps play so efficiently. I hate watching Lewerke play better than any Michigan qb this season. I need to go to sleep, anyway.

Lewerke looks way better than any QB at Michigan. Mork doing much more with less at MSU. Michigan can’t win with four stars or get a good O-line together.

Narduzzi's defense was pretty terrible in 2009 and people wanted him fired. Then 2010 was pretty good and 2011 onward was great. JLS had a good offense and a terrible defense so it makes sense that Dantonio had a good offense and bad defense in his first three years. Hoke had terrible qb and OL play. Guess what the problem has been so far for Harbaugh? QB and OL. Now we see if the problem is Harbaugh or the fact that we have a depleted OL and young qb. I believe that it is the latter.

So now mgoblog is coming around to lewerke being good? I've been saying that since beginning of the year. What I hate is MSU having hoyer, cousins, cook and lewerke while Michigan has had Henne and? Wtf. When the hell are we going to get our lewerke ?

Hate Lewerke, but he threw for like 460 yards vs Northwestern.

I can hate him and acknowledge he's really good.  Those are NFl throws he's making, and not just easy ones occasionally, he's make tough NFl throws regularly and he has wheels and can throw on the run.

If Lewerke progresses, he's going to be a problem, he's got way more talent than the MSu guys before him (Cousins, Cook, Hoyer).

Didn't he pass for like 500 yards against northwestern It's time to give where credit is due: Dantonio is good. The cousins teams were good because they had good QB and a stud WR in burbridge and grabby suffocating defense. Seems to Me they are replicating that formula with some success. I hate that with our recruiting we can't even do this. I'm ready to have QB sling it all around the field and beat OSU
