Michigan opens up the passing game with a spectacular catch by DPJ after three rushing TD drives. USC with a light offense meets Michigan's defense in a mostly neutral environment with non-B1G refs. USC scores a TD late on a broken play but by this time most non wolverine fans have switched to a different game. Winnovich Hurst and Gary are spectacular, with Winnovich electing to pursue a final year after the fun of this game, potential team for next year, and possible first round pick vs 5th now.

From a talent perspective, neither team should be in this game. Michigan had the talent to play in a better bowl game and USC had the talent to be in a lower tiered one..should not be close really.

UM wins easy 38-10

If Peters plays the whole game, Michigan wins 26-6. If John O'Korn has to come in for Peters at any point other than garbage time with the game in hand, Michigan loses 13-9

When UM made huge strides in bowl prep and set the stage to to be an elite team in 2016.

UM 38 - Gamecocks 10

This will catupult our expectations and confindence for next year, where we will start the season as a top 5 team, and hopefully end it where we belong - winning the National Title.

38-7 Michigan. Peters is taken off the leash a little bit and shows what he can do. 15/22 2TD 0 INT. The two headed beast of Higdon and Evans rush for a total of 250 yds and 3TD. The defense gives up its contractually obligated 1TD before Don Brown completes his download, then it's lights out for the 'Cocks for the rest of the game. John O'Korn is back on the field for the last drive or two so that his final mistake in the OSU game isn't the last thing he ever does in the uniform.

If you add up all the mgopoints of all the members that's the number of points Michigan will score. Therefore it won't matter what the, but not THE team from down south will score so I won't bother predicting it. I will postdict it with perfect accuracy however.

I'm seeing predictions of 30-plus points by a lot of you. I'm not sure we watched the same offense this year. My guess is something like Michigan 17 South Carolina 10. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised though.

Our offense this season was a product of jok and Peters not knowing the playbook. Peters uses the extra practice to get it together with the receivers and oline. Offense gels. 34-10 Michigan, never looks close.

USC offense is behind East Carolina and defense is behind Duke so the Wolverines should be ok.  USC is not as well rated as Purdue or Indiana but well ahead of Minnesota.  Baring an anomaly, M covers.

UM 27  USC 13

31-13.  Peters will start the QB controversy on Jan 1st.  Before he got blowed up in the Wisonsin game, I saw him doing things no Michigan QB has done since Henne...which is scan the field and find a 2nd or 3rd option.  Young teams tend to get a lot better during these breaks leading up to the Bowls.

This game is far more meaningful to Michigan that it appears on paper.

I would say something like 42-0 if I didn't see so many receivers waiting for the ball to arrive when Peters was QB.  Maybe some of the injured receivers will have recovered and be on the field and maybe Peters has the practice time to get the timing down but until I see it, I don't see M breaking 30 points unless the defense has a score or two.  Peters reads the field well but there is as reason Harbaugh has not called more passing plays with Peters as QB.

Go for two

Was going with 31-13 but I see this wasn’t posted fast enough. Higdon gets 1000 yards, Peters throws for over 200 and the defense racks up 5 sacks Team will be on a roll to start the 2018 campaign

Michigan 31

South Carolina 10

Peters with 250 passing yds or more and 2 TD passes.

Higdon and Evans both have great games, Higdon over 100 yds for sure.

I see a possible defensive or special teams TD as well. Go Blue!!
