upcoming UM football show on Amazon

Submitted by llandson on

Was curious if everyone plans to watch this documentary series, due out on Amazon in January? I, for one, found this to be a painful season to watch, at least after Week 1 vs. Florida. I'm not sure I want to relive the injuries and disappointment.

I personally like Harbaugh a little more on the nutty side.  He's not himself when he's behaving.

Besides, his good behavior didn't get him shit on the referee bad calls.  He's is still getting screwed like he's throwing tantrums on the sideline.

Fuck it then, might as well have fun and just be himself.

These men never gave up in football.  They battled until the end, until the 4th quarter against OSU.  This is what makes good inspiritation.  Why didn't they give up in the middle of the season when a lot of fans did?

For the same reason I don’t watch The Journey on BTN after UM loses. I see no need to live in the pain of the past. If UM had beaten MSU I might have been able to watch, but given how sideways everything went after the Florida game, I just don’t want to upset again about the Speight injury, the monsoon, the PSU game, the Peters injury and last weekend. I will be happier not reliving it any more than I already do.

I was super excited about this when I heard about it, then we started losing games and ... not sure how enjoyable reliving those in detail is going to be. I'll still suffer through i like a dutiful michigan fan.

It's going to be extremely tough listening to the coaching staff talk up O'Korn and downplay Peters and how he wasn't ready mentally, etc. Still easily the most disappointing thing about Harbaugh in 3 years and don't care to relive the spin.

Man, if only we'd found a way to pull off that OSU upset, I'd be ready to pre-order the DVD right now despite having Prime. Would have been an amazing story of triumph over adversity and made the pain of the season worthwhile. Now it will likely be downright depressing, though there's a chance for a bit of redemption in the bowl game like we had against Florida in Lloyd's last year (assuming that's covered in the film).

I don't think it will be that big of a deal and I will watch, but I actually would prefer not doing this.  Seems like there is too much risk.  I'm actually surprised that Harbaugh isn't more paranoid.

I'm gonna watch it (because everyone will let's face it).

But since this season has gone on, I've started to hate the fact we agreed to the making of this.

It might be somewhat depressing, but I'll eat up any insider coverage of our team any chance I get.
