Noon Games Open Thread

Submitted by JWG Wolverine on

Time for the Noon Games. Obviously MSU/OSU and Rutgers/PSU are our focus, but here are all the games on the viewing guide M-Dog made this morning (thanks for doing that!) until we head into the afternoon, when it's time to beat some turtle!

Go Blue and enjoy your Saturday!

If i was Dantonio i would dial it up and throw it 60 times like they did against psu. OSU is playing well at this point and msu might have a hard time keeping up.

That graphic of the all time series always surprises me. MSU joined the Big Ten in 1953. Yet the series for OSU is only 30-15 in their favor. Before there were divisions, before there was Penn State (where you only missed one conference opponent a year) these teams played rarely. And that continued and continued. I don't know what Sparty ever did to deserve that scheduling gift. It took 60 years for them to finally play OSU every year now with no 2,4,6 year breaks a decade.

Not making excuses for horrible MSU offense so far but it sure looks like OSU db’s are getting away with a ton of holding/PI. Then again, who’s surprised?

Which team does Michigan fan cheer for here? I told my son that even though it pains me to, I hope Ohio beats MSU. We need Sparty to lose again, and if we win out, at least it comes down to a complicated tie. Gives the wolverines a chance. It that right?

If we can get Speight back for OSU, I'd definitely lean towards playing him.  He'd allow us to run our entire playbook and hopefully keep them off-balance like Iowa did.  Not sure we can trust Peters to do the same.
