Noon Games Open Thread

Time for the Noon Games. Obviously MSU/OSU and Rutgers/PSU are our focus, but here are all the games on the viewing guide M-Dog made this morning (thanks for doing that!) until we head into the afternoon, when it's time to beat some turtle!

Go Blue and enjoy your Saturday!

... assuming an OSU win over Illnois as well.  In that scenario, four teams are co-division-champs, each with a 7-2 conference record.

As for who gets to the B1G title game: the first tiebreak is record among the tied teams.  In this scenario, that keeps OSU (2-1) and MSU (2-1) and eliminates UM (1-2) and PSU (1-2).  If any tiebreak narrows down to just two teams, the head-to-head winner between the two (OSU) goes.

If OSU loses to Illinois and all those same teams win out, it's only a three-way split for the division title.  MSU (2-0 vs UM/PSU) wins the head-to-head tiebreaker over PSU (1-1) and UM (0-2) for the B1G title game berth.

Sparty beating that OSU team in a monsoon and getting in over them was a crock, regardless of beating a crappy Iowa team in the B1G championship game. The committe, if it truly were using "best team" criteria should have put OSU in over MSU. 15 was the year that a non-conference champ OSU should have gone to playoffs, not 16. That 15 team with Bosa and Zeke would have beaten eventual champ Alabama.

Two straight no calls on PI- we get flagged for breathing on guys in pass coverages. Ridiculous officiating in the B1G
